Great service from Gareth

Great service from Gareth and his partner , the job was completed efficency and the house was left spotless .Gareth explained the workings of the new boiler and went through the paperwork clearly.
Both gents were polite and respected my home even removing their outdoor shoes to go upstairs . I will certainly recommend these guys and have no hesitation on request further work from them

Gareth and Sam arrived at the time he stated. Both lads were friendly and took time to learn the cat and the dogs names and fussed the cat every time they came in and out of the kitchen.
They were very efficient and cleared up any mess made and left my home in the same state they found it.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone to install a boiler.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service by Gareth and Sam. Boiler was installed efficiently and carefully- Gareth took the time to show me how everything worked and made sure I was happy with it all. The house was left clean and tidy afterwards. The guys were really friendly and polite. Thank you both so much for your help!

Excellent service

I have had many problems with my boiler over the past few years and no one has been able to fix it properly ! Now I have had Pipe Perfect and it is fixed for good ! I highly recommend this company ! Excellent service

Gareth fitted our new boiler

Gareth was very professional and also very friendly and approachable telling us what he was doing and why.

He had to go onto the roof using the scaffolding to fix the flue. It was really high up!! I asked if he could take photos of the flue and the roof for my future reference and he was happy to do this.

I would recommend his work and he cleared up well afterwards.

I had a great experience with the Gareth who replaced my old boiler and fixed the new one. He arrived right on time and finished the job exactly when he said he would. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood what was being done. He even went the extra mile to fix an issue with the boiler flue, which I really appreciated. Excellent service from start to finish ,I’d highly recommend him!

New Boiler Installation

Gareth installed new boiler on behalf of British Gas. He was punctual and carried out the work in a professional but friendly manner. Everything was left clean and tidy and operation instructions explained. We would not hesitate to use him for future work.

Very disappointed with every aspect of…

Very disappointed with every aspect of the job by Gareth. After the positive reviews on here, it's a bit of a shock. It wasnt the most straightforward job with parts missing initially, which meant a delayed installation. However, I believe this affected the workmanship of the job as it was moved to a Friday afternoon and I got the impression that Gareth could not finish the job quick enough. He installed new standard heating controls, which was explicitly NOT requested as I sent information to Gareth by text with information required to reinstall my smart controls. He then told me it would be so much easier if the standard controls were left. This left me speechless. Easier for whom? I spent over £250 on my smart controls and he was going to throw the hub into the rubbish. Then he reluctantly 'reinstalled' the hub, no checks were made on thermostatic valves. Thus the next day I heard something fall down in my boiler cupboard and it was the hub panel. Thankfully, it was not broken. Just shows how quickly Gareth wanted to finish the job that he couldn't even screw the panel back on properly. There was also a leak in my loft during installation. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt as he seemed genuinely surprised by this, but the cause was not explained to me and I was fobbed off by being told all was fine while water was pouring out into my garden and subsequently leaked through my ceiling. They were asked by Heatable to return to remove the tank to complete the job but it was very obvious that Gareth had no intention of returning. Been told by an engineer in a subsequent visit to complete the job that further mistakes had been made such as installing the magnetic filter upside down and not installing a fuse spur to comply with regulations. However, Heatable checked that a photo had been sent by Gareth in the job report of my new fuse spur. Hmm. A very poor experience and based on talking to Heatable, they were not impressed either. One positive, Sam was very friendly and pleasant during the install and when returning to patch up the mess in the loft and on the ceiling.

I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with your installation experience. I take all feedback seriously and would like to clarify a few details for transparency.

The magnetic filter was installed correctly, with the flow arrow aligned to the boiler’s return pipe — ensuring the correct direction of flow. Regarding the electrical spur, this work must be completed by a qualified electrician, as heating engineers aren’t authorised to install or modify fused spurs.

On the day of installation, I wasn’t made aware that you wished to keep your existing smart thermostat. A new control system had been supplied through Heatable as part of the installation, and I fitted it according to the job specification. Once you mentioned you preferred to keep your previous hub, I reinstalled it and confirmed in front of you that it was fully operational before leaving. You advised that you’d reconnect your TRVs through your phone once we left.

The wall panel for the smart control was securely fitted and tested before completion. The panel design uses rear mounting hooks, meaning it cannot lift vertically or fall forward — even without screws in place — as it would have to be lifted from the bottom to detach from the bracket. When you later reported it had come loose, I immediately offered to return to check it. You then confirmed that you’d realigned and reattached it yourself successfully, suggesting it was a minor alignment issue rather than a fitting fault.

The overflow pipe in the loft was an existing part of the original system that we did not install or alter. When the loft tank overflowed, the pipe correctly discharged water outside as designed. However, a small amount of water escaped internally due to an old, pre-existing fitting on that line. Sam promptly returned to inspect the area and repaint the small section of ceiling to ensure everything was left neat and finished.

I always aim to deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service, and I’m sorry this experience didn’t meet your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback — I’ll continue to ensure every installation meets both manufacturer and regulatory standards.

Worcester bosch combi boiler installed…

Worcester bosch combi boiler installed as a replacement for an old ideal mexico boiler.
The work was carried out in a very professional manner by a friendly and helpful team (Gareth and Pete) and on completion of the installation Gareth gave a full and detailed explanation on the operation of the new system. The site was left clean and tidy. All of the above was completed at a very reasonable and competitive price. I would have no hesitation in employing the services of pipe perfect again in the future.

Would highly recommend Gareth

Would highly recommend Gareth. He sorted some long-running issues with our heating system quickly and efficiently, as well as servicing our boiler, all for a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely be using him again!

Can’t rate Gareth enough. On time, brilliant job installing our new boiler, set up our hive thermostat and demonstrated how to use it. Did a fantastic job, clean, tidy and so helpful. Definitely deserves 5 stars!! 🌟

Boiler & Hive installation …

Gareth has just installed a new Hive thermostat for us and has done a brilliant job! Helping with a tutorial on how it all works. Just brilliant - thank you so much.

Also installed a whole new boiler for my elderly mum and went out of his way to make sure she had heat and hot water at the weekend when it all went pop!!

Would highly recommend! Thank you so much Gareth! You’re brilliant!

Right from the start Gareth was 100%…

Right from the start Gareth was 100% professional. He answered his phone, he came and did a totally professional job, giving great advice and was much less expensive than I thought he was going to be. I would wholehearted use him again . On this occasion he serviced my boiler, fixed 2 radiators and installed HIVE… brilliant job :)
