Frustrating/ Get what you pay for
Updating my review after dealing with customer service:
Unfortunately, the experience has only become more frustrating.
I received a damaged item (cracked casing) and reported it right away, including photos and the barcode as requested. After that, communication went silent for weeks. When I finally heard back, I was asked to provide the same barcode again, despite already sending it in the original email thread.
On top of that, I’ve now been contacted from multiple different email addresses, and each time I’ve had to re-explain the situation and resend the same information. There doesn’t seem to be any internal communication or continuity, which has made a simple issue unnecessarily drawn out.
As for the resolution, I was offered 1000 reward points (roughly $10), which doesn’t reflect the value of the damaged item or the time spent going back and forth. I’ve also yet to actually receive those points.
This whole experience has honestly changed how I view the “mystery box.” Between receiving a damaged product and hearing that items may be discontinued or returns, it doesn’t feel like a great value.
I understand that issues happen, but the lack of follow-through and organization on the customer service side is what’s been the most disappointing.
Hopefully this feedback helps improve things going forward.
