Pre-ordered product never delivered with no response from support

I pre-ordered a product and they completely missed the fulfillment date with no updates. I submitted support requests every 2 months and was promised it was coming, but that was false. 7 months later they ceased replying to support requests and I needed to seek help on discord in order to get a refund. They never proactively updated me on my order, instead hoping I would forget and they could keep my money.
