Unreasonable return fees!
I placed an order with Piffa.co, but unfortunately, I couldn’t receive it in time, so the shipping company returned it to them within 7 days. I contacted their customer service to have the order resent, and they were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. During our communication, I realized that I had made a mistake with the order, so I asked them to instead process a return and issue a refund.
However, I was surprised to find that 250 SEK was deducted from my refund. This is more than 50% of the total cost of my order. They explained that this fee was due to the package being returned to them. While I understand that return shipping may incur some cost, this amount seems excessive, especially considering that I paid 59 SEK for delivery.
Their return policy states that customers can cancel a purchase within 14 days after delivery, as long as the item is not personalized, and the return shipping is paid by the customer. Since I did not order a personalized item and the return was requested promptly, I was not expecting such a high deduction.
To be fair, the customer support team was kind and communicative throughout. They helped me understand the issue with the original order and assisted with tracking and reshipping. Still, I feel that a 250 SEK deduction is unreasonable in this case, and more transparency and fairness in how return fees are calculated are needed!
