In Search of a Large Frame
I was looking for a large frame for a stretched canvas —48”x36”—and was pleased that I found it with PictureFrames. The price was excellent, too! The frame was shipped out very quickly, and was very well packaged.
Nice frame.
My only issue was the clamps that were included. Maybe it’s just me but I had such a hard time getting them in place. (Spent an hour!) I finally nailed them in, and then added more nails to keep the canvas in place.

The online system doesn't work well. I always had to call them to fix the issue from my end. Multiple returns and exchanges due to the defected items shipped (not by shipping but their quality of work).

No one told me my order was out of stock
When my order didn't arrive more than 3 days past the fast shipping date (of which I paid extra) I messaged via the chat feature to inquire.
I was informed that the frame I ordered was out of stock and the order could not be filled. This happens BUT I'd received no update about this situation until I reached out, seeking an update.
I did receive a fill refund on my original order but seems very poorly handled.
The rep, Derek W., was great help via the live support/chat feature. However, I'm quite disappointed with the PictureFrames experience overall. Additionally, the refund will take approximately 5 days to be returned.
The rep gave me a discount code but I'm reluctant to try again with this company.

Nice variety of frames
Nice variety of frames. From clean and simple frames to beautifully ornate. Sorting was easy and ordering the correct size was even easier. Pictures of the frame include a diagram of how the canvas fits in the opening which was very useful.

AVOID this company for framing W/C
frames are beautiful to look at albeit not Nielsen quality (metal) and are flimsy!
the problems are: 1. they will only allow a 2" max mat (so larger pieces look ridiculous) and 2. they cut their plexiglass short!!! you have to rig up a system on the backside with wire and hangars to pull the frame together tight enough so the plexiglass doesn't fall out!
I contacted them and they said yeah, you have to secure the back....WHAT? so they are aware but will not alter their frame assortment or plexiglass cutting protocols. ok.
This was the case on all (3) frames so it wasn't a one-off.
SLIPSHOD all the way around - flimsy metal frame and no attention to detail on the plexi.

They took my payment and did not deliver
They took my payment, said the product would be delivered and then nothing. When I called, they said its out of stock and they have no idea when it will be in stock. They had no intention of letting me know and it was for my daughter's wedding. POOR BUSINESS! Dont order from these people unless you want to get ripped off.

Easy Site to Navigate
Easy to find a very specific type of art frame I needed for three deep-set stretched canvas paintings. I haven't received the frames yet, but the finding, selecting and ordering via the website was quick and easy and pricing wasn't too bad.

Love the look of the frames. However, I had to assemble all 6 frames from scratch and it took me forever. Very disappointed in how cheap the acrylic looks after dropping hundreds of dollars. Wish I would have gotten non glare acrylic - but that would have cost even MORE and they’re already expensive.

Order Still not Shipped well past delivery date
When I placed the order, it was guaranteed “Mother’s Day shipping” so the item was supposed to be here prior to Mother’s Day. It is currently Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day, and my item has not even shipped yet. Why advertise Mother’s Day shipping at all?
