Phoenix HOA Management is NOT a real…
Phoenix HOA Management is NOT a real company! Instead, a guy named Steven Mammen filled out a form to register his paper-only company with the Texas Secretary of State, by falsely claiming the house where he was renting a room from was his "corporate headquarters." He also falsely claimed to have an office in Addison, Texas which turned out to be completely empty. The reason we know this is because he, somehow, persuaded the "President" of our small HOA, called Peachtree Village, located in east Plano, Texas to hire him as their "community manager." But all he has done is write a couple of letters full of vitriolic lies about any homeowner who dares question him or the "Board." When issued HOA record requests for things like his bond papers, he refused to supply them...because he has none! A group of us homeowners are trying to make sure he doesn't get hold of our HOA money and records, but because he and the "Board" refuse to let us see any banks statements, we fear he has already misappropriated our funds and destroyed any record that would prove our HOA doesn't even have a properly-elected Board. We've also learned we're not the first Mr. Mammen has exploited. An internet search revealed he did the same things while operating a company in California called "Phoenix Management Consultants." We filed complaints with the US Postal Service to report on how he was hoping to forward our dues payments to the fake office he claimed to have at the Guaranty Bank building in Addison, to a weird PMB 51, a post office mailbox, in Grapevine, Texas. If this guy approaches your HOA community, save yourselves and turn him out the door!
