Mark is really friendly and knowledgeable on all things archery. Took my daughter to get set up with her first bow and other equipment, Mark took his time explained everything let her try out her bow nothing was too much trouble and we had d a good laugh as well. Mark is really helpful, freindly and knows his stuff. We travelled from Southport to have a look first visit. We spent the whole afternoon at Phoenix, Mark measured us for Bows and helped with size etc, we then spent time in the indoor range to try out. We bought a bow each and accessories. As a newly minted archer, I recently ordered a bow (the beautiful and lovely to shoot Oakridge Shade in Actionwood/Dorado) from Phoenix with all the kit needed to get started. Mark made time to discuss my order over the phone and was tremendously insightful in advising me of the possible options best for me. I'm delighted with my new bow, how it was set up, and the kit that came with it. Mark typifies what first-class customer service is all about. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Mark and Phoenix Archery to anyone looking for excellent kit and service.

Ordered a set of Arrow Friends and couldn't be happier with them so much so that I'll be ordering more in different colours and I will definitely be a returning customer and will be highly recommending him to my fellow merry men .

I wanted a Rinehart archery target which are famed for their outstanding durability as I'm a crossbow archer. But it was a challenge buying one as the UK is the only country they don't have a dealer. However, Phoenix-Archery will sell them, but being a specialty item has a 4-6 wk delivery time. Many other UK archery vendors list them on their site, but they're all "out-of-stock"and cannot even be back-ordered. Having a nice bow is a bit pointless without a good target. So kudos to Mark for selling these specialty items and at very reasonable prices. The target arrived in 4 weeks and it is top quality. In the same order I also bought Excalibur Rail Lube for my crossbow which no other UK archery vendors stocked, but it's essential in maintaining string-life when shooting a crossbow. 5 stars; highly recommend Phoenix-Archery.

Mark will always do his best to take care of you. Mark and his colleague built my arrows on short notice and well in time for my first competition.

Called the day before and Mark made room for me. On arrival I was welcomed with a smile and then spent the next 3.5hours going through all the equipment pros and cons. As a beginner he was very helpful and so knowledgeable with years of experience within the sport.

I am a complete novice archer and needed some new arrows as I have bent and lost my first half dozen. So I looked on some reviews and decided on some gold tip warriors. I contacted a competiitor to this site (Merlin Archery) on the 5th February, I did receive some initial assistance however Merlin reccomended some Gladiator cross. These arrived on the 13th Feb, I excitedly opened the box to discover no arrow heads. I know my fault it does say on the website but I'm a beginner so I'm an idiot. I then called Merlin Twice and no answer. I then filled in the support email 2 days no help. I then called merlin again and was told I need 6/2 I then go to the website and find there are 100 different weights and combinations again beginner I know I am an idiot. I then wrote again to merlin saying I can't work out what points to put on the arrows, so I will send them back. Merlin replied you can't they are customised for you no help with what points to order.

1 call to Phoenix Archery lasting 5m 35s and I have a set of points for another companies arrows on their way. Stock was checked and the order placed online thank you Phoenix.

Phoenix archery is the first and only choice when it comes to archery. Have just got back into archery after a long break went for some lessons which were brilliant. After Christmas and receiving numerous gift vouchers went to go and get my new bow. After excellent advice from mark ended up with a kinetic valenz riser in silver and core prelude limbs. Full set up I store let me shot it as much as I wanted in his indoor range.

I can't recommend enough and will continue to use Mark at Phoenix in the future.

Today, I visited Phoenix to test a riser which they had kept to one side for me for over a week. Graham set up the bow with limbs and string and I tried it out on the 10m range. He then changed the limbs for me and off I went again. I felt that I had as much time as I needed and that nothing would be too much trouble.
Mark then took over with the same relaxed, friendly and informative way of doing things. I tested the arrows and the sights and nothing was left to guesswork. I also learned a great deal.
Much is made of the friendly, relaxed atmosphere when you read reviews. It's true. There is no hard sell or corporate, scripted front end. If, like me, you are a beginner in search of a first bow then you will get all the advice that you need and maybe learn some stuff at the same time.
I came away with some kit which I'm sure will keep me happy for quite a long time. Highly recommended.

Do not take orders over phone if you are a newcomer to archery you need advice not come in to shop I live in Birmingham not everyone has internet

Just before Christmas Mark turned into Father Christmas and a life saver....I was just about to give up.
On the 1st of December I ordered my husband a bow, arrow, glove....the whole kit and kaboodle from another company, by the 17th I had not heard anything, on the 18th i was informed that my package had been posted out but would not be here on time for Christmas ( I'm still waiting for it..to then have to return it unopened ). I then went into melt down, but then I came across phoenix Archery and the super duper Mark. He was so helpful and knowledgeable, I told him everything I wanted, he packaged everything together and it was sent out first class, express delivery. My parcel arrived on the 23rd December, and my husband was over the moon with his present from Father Christmas.
After lockdown we are planning a visit to Phoenix Archery.
You can put your trust in this company and Mark. And I cant thank him enough for helping out at a last minute crisis.

Bought only online from Phoenix. I purchased a set of carbon and a set of wooden arrows from them and they match my requirements exactly. I'm using a 25lbs hybrid bow and reached a level now to start tuning arrows and I found I just didn't need to with the ones bought from Phoenix. I've used 3 other companies for archery components and bought aluminium arrows from charts which turned out badly. If you're not able to get to a shop at the moment and try out some arrows (which is obviously best, I wish I lived close to Burnley!) I'd definitely recommend the advice and arrow building from Phoenix.

Very happy with the service level these guys offer, bought a glove from them during lockdown which turned out to be the wrong size, three months later gladly swapped it for the right one, very friendly, efficient and highly recommended.
