Super efficient, easy to reach by phone. They work with you to accommodate urgent prescriptions and generic alternatives during shortages for my ADHD medication. Fast turnaround time. Can't expect more

Failed to deliver my medication for 10…

Failed to deliver my medication for 10 days and tried to charge me twice. Tried emailing and phoning but no response. Dire.

At Pharmazon, we pride ourselves on our fast turnaround times and our communication with patients, it would appear that in this instance something has gone awry.

We have looked into this and believe that the delay was caused by an error on the prescription which was flagged up and dealt with through our standard processes. Unfortunately without a new prescription, no medication could be dispatched. This was sadly out of our immediate control.

The new prescription auto generates a new payment link. As you had already made payment for the first prescription (containing the error), we cancelled the 2nd payment request. We would not intentionally request more payment for medication that has already been paid.

Our phone lines are currently being tested to ensure they are working as intended, as our team strive to answer all calls as soon as possible to prevent any going to voicemail.

A Complaint will be made to The General Pharmaceutical Council

You contacted me and allowed the telephone to ring only twice, requiring me to return the call. When I did so, I was kept on hold listening to recorded music, despite informing you that I was at work and unable to remain waiting. This is not an acceptable standard of patient communication.
More concerning is the fact that you confirmed receipt of my prescription and accepted payment, yet subsequently informed me that I was not permitted a six-week supply. When I reminded you that I was initially provided with a six-week supply when commencing this medication, I was told this was “because it was Christmas.” This explanation is inconsistent and raises serious concerns regarding fairness and transparency in your prescribing and dispensing policies.
You also insisted the medication could be sent on a Sunday. I clearly explained that Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays and that I require delivery on Saturday. You confirmed you would email me to clarify arrangements. No email has been received, and no further communication has been provided, despite my payment having been taken.
Taking payment without supplying the agreed medication raises concerns under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and within a reasonable time. In addition, as a provider of pharmacy services, you are expected to adhere to the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), including providing person-centred care, communicating effectively, and maintaining clear, consistent supply policies.
This matter has caused unnecessary disruption to my working day and has created avoidable stress regarding access to prescribed medication.
I require the following:
A written response by Monday morning confirming the position regarding my prescription supply.
Confirmation that my medication will be delivered next Saturday as requested.
Clarification of your formal policy regarding six-week supplies, and why it has been applied inconsistently in my case.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no hesitation in escalating my complaint to the General Pharmaceutical Council.

We have a team of Pharmacists, dispensers, and admin staff all available to answer calls and we even have a patient whatsapp number available, but we acknowledge we need to do better to ensure no one is left waiting for a response.

You will have received our automatic email reply, that requests if you have not received an answer to your query to please call us on 01494 424 435 Option 1 and either myself or my admin team will be able to assist you further. This is sent to avoid situations like yours when you're waiting for us and haven't received a response to your email.

We've also invested in a patient web app that will be available soon, giving you control of your payment and delivery for prescription medication. You will also have direct access to your receipts and invoices.

Our commitment to continually improving our service is our priority. We understand getting your medication can be stressful, and our responsibility is to make this smooth and simple. So, I'm pleased your medication was dispatched and delivered promptly.

Your comments have been raised with our Delivery Team to ensure that ALL emails are acknowledged and responded to promptly.
