I received the following SMS pretending to be from CoinSpot. See attached screenshot of the text.
I called the number and the person pretending to be Coinspot representative, said there was a tentative of withdraw from someone in Singapore and asked few questions. They said they will lock the account for 48hours to do a security investigation and told me to move the cryptos to a my offline phantom wallet. I was instructed to go to the phantom insure.com, from there I've got prompted to enter my security phrases, he specifically told me to write them without saying them out loud. From there he instructed me to go to my Coinspot account and transfer my crypto to my phantom wallet. I did and verified the money was received in the phantom wallet and they said everything was completed and I would receive an email from Coinspot within 48 hrs when the security issue was resolved and after that they said I could safely transfer all my crypto back to coinspot. I went back to my phantom wallet 30 minutes after the phone call to double check everything was ok and I realized all the crypto that I just moved there was gone and had already been transferred to other addresses.
hen out of nowhere, 𝘼𝙍𝙂𝙊𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙇𝙋 replied. Actually moved. Didn’t expect anyone to care about a small account. Took weeks. Got it back. Still don’t know how.
