Very poor

Very poor - avoid.
Poor in terms of service but also in terms of actually representing my claim. Accepted the claim categorization the other side proposed without any effort to use the facts to get recategorized, resulting in reduced settlement to me , but no doubt quick and easy for them. Regret using them when other firms are available.

Incredibly frustrating

Incredibly frustrating, very slow to respond if at all and duplicate form filling unnecessarily. They have been dealing with my four diesel claims over many months.
Despite their advertising, which for example states on their website "Owned or leased a 2009-2018 diesel" - be warned, their latest email just received again asking to complete a questionnaire (which I already have), states "If you bought your affected vehicle more than 6 years ago or if you are approaching your 6-year anniversary, we may not be able to include some or all of your claim in one of our regularly issued claim forms. If you think that you might fall in this category, please email our client care team to bring this to their attention as soon as possible." Looks like more paperwork after months of faffing about....

Your email today has totally confused me.

You write as though I have just contacted you. You have been dealing with this claim on by behave for over a year!

I have completed many forms and provided you with all document you have asked for.

Are you genuine or is this a scam?

I am very disappointed and angry by your blundering inappropriate email.

I look forward to your explanation.

My trust in you is shattered.

I participated in a class action suit…

I participated in a class action suit against British Airways and was awarded a settlement. I was sent a website to enter my bank details and now two and a half months later there has been nothing. In the meantime they have pocketed the money from the lawsuit and don't seem to have any intention of distributing the shares to those part of the claim. Stay away. It is not worth the time taken to fill out all their paperwork and then the frustration of having no one respond to any of your inquiries. It feels like a scam.

Hi Christine,

We partnered with ShieldPay to provide us with FCA approved, specialist payment administration service. This ensures that we would have the most secure process in receiving bank details, verifying them and administer payments swiftly, safely and effectively. ShieldPay have regularly provided similar services with law firms like ours.

ShieldPay have set up a secure platform for you to safely upload your bank account details. They will need to verify those details before transferring your payment to you. You should receive your compensation within 21 days of your details being verified.

If you uploaded your details on the secure platform more than 21 days ago and have not yet heard from ShieldPay, please email us at badatabreach@pgmbm.com so that we can work with them to understand any verification issues and ensure you are updated with when to expect safe transfer of your payment.

Furthermore, we assure you that neither PGMBM or ShieldPay seek to retain claimant settlement monies, and that transparency has been central to the work undertaken by our teams. Shocking excuse of a company.

Shocking excuse of a company.
Diesel claim my backside...they'll send millions of text messages in the middle of the night, wanting you to fill in the link...DO NOT...they want bank details and a lot of personal info...then you won't hear from them again...
Don't try calling them...it's probably a dead line in a disused office somewhere abroad, judging by the texts on the middle.of the night UK time I'd more than bet they're in Africa, and this is yet another Ghanaian scam, wrapped up in a pretty bow...

Hi Fiona,

I was extremely concerned to hear that you have been receiving messages like this. I can assure you that the messages are not from PGMBM as we will never ask for your bank details until a claim is settled or won. We are going to look into this further.

The nature of our international firm means we do have people from all around the world working with us, but our call centres are headed up in London, not Africa.

If you would like any more clarification on the legitimacy of these claims, please feel free to contact us on clientcare@pmgbm.com or head to our website pgmbm.com for more information.

Thanks

First experience of a group litigation case with PGMBM

I was part of a claim in a UK group litigation case. My initial application I made was easy to complete and I received regular updates about the progress of this claim.
Once the court decision was made about the case I had an email notifying me of how much I was to receive, after PGMBM had taken their commission (which I was advised of at the beginning of my application).
There was a long delay until I received the due funds, but believe that the delay was due to 'Shieldpay' (the company chosen to complete the transactions). PGMBM even enquired to Shieldpay on my behalf.
The paralegals that answer the 'phone lines at PGMBM are friendly and helpful, as was the solictior I spoke to representing the group litigation I was part of.
I have since recommended PGMBM to a friend (in a different group litigation case) and hope that they find a more efficient company to process payments in the future.

This company uses people to chase big payouts from companies and pocket the majority of the settlement then won’t respond to emails or when I call them amazingly the team I need to speak to are not able to take my call! so they say they will call back and they never do. Avoid at all costs as you can do everything they offer on your own!

Be careful with these people

I contacted this company back in April and finally got a response in September, asking me to fill in a questionnaire to which the link failed to work. I called them and they took the details over the phone, it was the final day to fill it in and I was told they were trying to fix the link as they’ve been having problems. I have now received another questionnaire email and the link, again, doesn’t work. Worse still they say they have the questionnaire but need my ID to proceed, but as yet, have failed to send the email to request ID, and I was already told they have everything they need on the questionnaire. Today, they tell me it’s my responsibility to get them all the information and documentation, but failed to accept that it is their responsibility to tell me what they need! I’ve instructed them, but I’m very concerned about the credibility of this outfitu! On the plus side, the lady wanted to get off the phone very quickly rather than waste my time with a coherent explanation.
