A PAINFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE

I have a Pfister faucet that is going on 20 years old, so I love the lifetime warranty, but…
As I learned with Craftsman tools, the lifetime warranty is only good until the company crumbles, and Pfister may be heading that way.
I recently called for a warranty replacement part. I pressed 1 for English, but got somebody who was obviously a native Spanish speaker, but could speak some English. It took me three tries to explain that I needed the pull-out sprayer part of the faucet fixture. The nice lady in broken English assured me she understood my request. Since my kitchen faucet was unusable at this point, I asked for and paid for FedEx shipping so we could use our kitchen again sooner.
The wrong part appeared on my doorstep two days later. She sent the lever/handle for turning the faucet on and off, not the pull-out sprayer. Furthermore, the part was in a plastic bag with no padding or bubble wrap whatsoever, so it was horribly bent, scratched, and unusable. I threw it away. Grrr.
I called them back, talked to another representative with broken English who assured me he understood my request this time. Since the part I need is the most obvious part of my kitchen fixture, I asked if he could make sure is ware packaged correctly to make it to me in good condition. Again, this request took me four tries to get through to him. He told me to wait for a manager to approve the expedited shipping, then after 5 more minutes on hold, the call disconnected. Grrr.
I will spare you the rest of the details, but if I have to deal with Pfister's warranty support again, I will bite the bullet and buy a different brand of faucet.
Dealing with them has been time-consuming and painful.

Never again - I bought this Pfister Shower Panel…

I bought this Pfister Shower Panel (016-800SP) because of the "Pforever Warranty," but it turned out to be a waste of money. The valve seized up, making the entire unit useless. When I called customer support for a replacement part, they simply told me they no longer stock parts for this model and offered no solution.
If you are a DIYer looking for a product you can actually maintain, look elsewhere. Pfister does not support their customers once a model is discontinued. I will never buy from this brand again and suggest you avoid them if you want a shower that lasts more than a few years.

Pfister warranty is only for original…

Pfister warranty is only for original purchaser. Their warranty department will ask for all of your information even after you tell them you are the 2nd owner. Then they'll politely tell you that you are not allowed to claim against the warranty. Why did they need my information if they knew I could not claim against their warranty?!? This is the very reason why Pros use Moen!

I'm absolutely fed up with the poor…

Pfister has somehow managed to make owning a faucet feel like a hostage situation. Their products require special proprietary tools just to clean the aerator — tools that are mysteriously hard to identify or obtain. It’s like buying a car that needs a separate key to start the engine, but the dealer “can’t remember which one fits.”

I reached out to customer service for what should have been a five-minute question: Which aerator tool do I need for my faucet? The rep I got sounded bored out of his skull, like helping customers was some kind of cruel punishment. Instead of just looking up the damn model, he told me to take a photo and email it — because apparently describing an eight-sided aerator is beyond their comprehension. And just when I thought it couldn’t get lazier, he went completely silent. No goodbye, no hold, just dead air. I hung up after realizing he’d probably fallen asleep or walked away.

So, I tried again through Pfister’s website. I submitted my question, gave them all the info they needed, and waited. And waited. Over 24 hours later, still nothing. Not even one of those fake “we’re experiencing high volumes” excuses. Just digital tumbleweeds.

It’s absolutely insane that a faucet company can’t manage basic customer support. They’ve turned running water into a luxury experience — complete with microtransactions. Need to clean your faucet? That’ll be another tool. Need an answer? That’ll cost your patience, your time, and probably your sanity.

Pfister’s design choices scream greed and arrogance. They could have made their aerators universal, but no — they went with proprietary nonsense that forces customers to come crawling back. Combine that with their comatose support team, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for frustration.

At this point, I’d rather chisel a hole in a rock and let rainwater drip through than deal with Pfister again. I’m replacing their faucet with a brand that values function over gimmicks and customers over profit.

Pfister doesn’t sell faucets. They sell inconvenience, apathy, and regret — all in shiny metal packaging.

THIS IS WHAT ALL COMPANIES SHOULD DO!

It is great to see a company stand behind their products. Had a leak in the pull hose of our kitchen faucet and even though we had bought it many years ago, they replaced it, free of charge. Unfortunately this is an exception these days and I will certainly buy and recommend their products.

The Indira kitchen faucet I bought has…

The Indira kitchen faucet I bought has broken three times... it has a lifetime warranty but Pfister takes forever to get the new parts to you so you can repair your own faucet.
This is the fifth day that I have been without hot water in my kitchen and they still have not even shipped the parts yet... so that I can fix it myself again and again and again.
I asked if they could ship the parts right away but the customer service person said the could not overnight it!!! a large corporation like Pfister that has been in business since 1910 cannot afford to overnight the parts??? Now they are not even concerned about sending them at all... some lifetime warranty.
The customer service person could not even muster up the decency to say something like," sorry that this has happened three times already' instead she was monotone and sardonic.
Pfister does not care about you one bit after they get your money, don't buy anything from Pfister or you will most likely regret it.
