I reached out to the support team as I was not able to edit my pets vaccine history and was greated by Stephanie who was able to resolve my issue quickly!

Petscreening approved my ESA quickly and the support representative Alex helped me refund the profile registration fee for my ESA. Thanks.

I am beyond frustrated with PetScreening. It feels less like a neutral screening service and more like a tool for landlords to circumvent FHA and California housing laws. Despite providing valid ESA documentation, the 'challenge' process is opaque and seemingly designed to favor the landlord’s interests over the tenant's rights. I feel like I am paying a subscription fee just to be denied the protections I am legally entitled to. Avoid if you have a choice.

recently contacted PetScreening for clarification regarding my assistance animal documentation, including my dog and ESA birds.
Stephanie from support responded promptly and clearly explained that PetScreening functions as a third-party service working directly with the housing provider. She appropriately directed me to contact my leasing office for a determination regarding whether a profile is required for my caged birds, since that decision must come from the housing provider.
I also appreciated the transparent explanation of the review timeline for my dog’s assistance animal profile. The estimated 2–5 business day processing window, along with clarification about potential delays and expedited review procedures (if requested by the housing provider), was helpful and clearly communicated.
Overall, the response was professional, courteous, and informative. The support representative provided clear next steps and set appropriate expectations regarding the review process.

I’m sharing this review to document an interview experience with PetScreening that crossed a basic professional boundary. Interviews are, at minimum, a mutual evaluation conducted with respect and clarity. What I encountered instead felt needlessly unserious behavior consistent with a prank or “gotcha” dynamic rather than a straightforward conversation about the role.
That approach is inappropriate in any hiring process. Candidates invest time, preparation, and emotional energy into interviewing. Treating that moment as an opportunity for jokes at the applicant’s expense reflects poor judgment and a lack of respect for professional norms.
If Pet Screening wants to attract strong talent, it should ensure interviewers are trained and held accountable for maintaining a professional and respectful environment because this experience did the opposite.
I had problems inputting information. They helped me and then went a step further and filled what I couldn’t get in. Very kind and helpful. Thank too😃

This company defines overreaching, and requests unnecessary documentation to prove their worth to apartment buildings that pay them. Pathetic.

My apartment complex required this service if I wanted to have my dog, and it felt like a huge invasion of privacy. They require a release of medical records because they want to contact my doctor to verify that my ESA letter is valid. I have never had a rental company ask for release of medical records, and I'm appalled that this is a requirement. They then tried to sell me pet and home insurance, which is a clear money grab. This service is completely useless to pet owners because it's geared toward protecting rich landlords over tenants.

Petscreening is a money making scam that, under the guise of registering your pet with your landlord, requires you to agree that it can share your information with and sell your information to third parties (opening you to solicitations, intrusions and potentially worse from companies you want nothing to do with) and that it can use your information to promote its own business. This is bad enough for people with pets, but PetScreening takes it farther, requiring even people who do not own pets to agree to its onerous terms and, even worse, appears to be engaged in illegal conduct as regards service animals -- typically, people protected by laws regarding service animals cannot be required to give up their rights in order to obtain a reasonable accommodation from a landlord. A landlord that values its residents would not expose them to this.

Customer service agents were super helpful and quick to respond to my emails. Although I would have liked the option to speak with someone, I understand a lot of businesses are straying away from that option. Overall a very good experience

These 5 star reviews are clearly fake. If trust pilot can’t do a better job correcting for that they should hang it up. This is a transparent cash grab- a service aimed at protecting landlords, but the tenants have to pay for it, oh also all your info is now going to be used to try to sell you insurance.

The process was intimidating at first because I didn’t know how to complete their emotional support pet process. After filling out most of the application, I had some questions so I decided to email them later or the next day. Unexpectedly, I received follow up emails from Eric and Becky that same day and they offered to help me complete the application and answer any questions. Once completed, the next day they emailed me to see if I needed assistance uploading the missing document. Eric and Becky were very professional and courteous and made what was turning into a chaotic move in process more manageable.

I don’t have any pets, but I would like to say that having to affirm seven ways to Sunday that I don’t is the most assinine thing I have had to endure today.

I had an excellent experience with PetScreening. The process was fast, clear, and handled very professionally. Olivia and Eric were especially helpful — responsive, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the entire review process.
Everything was reviewed and verified quickly, and communication was straightforward, which made what can sometimes be a stressful step feel easy and smooth. I really appreciated how efficient and respectful the experience was. Highly recommend!
