This is about the delivery “service”

This is about the delivery “service” , which is provided by UPS, but as they have chosen that courier they need to take some responsibility for the chaotic nature of the whole experience. UPS have consistently failed to deliver my parcel and their communications are completely unreliable. I was out on 1st delivery attempt. They said they dropped the parcel off at a nearby convenience store, that store is closed down and boarded up, so that’s impossible. I went on the UPS chat line and spoke with an agent and asked for a re delivery tomorrow 25/9/25 which UPS agreed to, as I was out today. However today I got an email saying they delivered today . This is untrue. I also got an email saying it was at the convenience store, which is impossible because it’s closed down. I am going round in circles. It is very frustrating . I paid for Petit Bateau goods and I am simply not getting them.

Appalling. Not the original Petit Bateau we all knew and loved

Gosh. What has gone wrong with this former iconic company? Like others, I have been aware of Petit Bateaus excellent reputation for decades and bought my own children clothes from here 30years ago. Naturally when my first grandchild arrived I wanted to get something 'special' and my thoughts flew immediately to Petit Bateau. Well, what a difference a couple of decades have made. The customer service is not only shockingly sparse, but rude and unhelpful at best. They do not address your issues and give blanket answers instead. I am still waiting for a refund on a return made many weeks ago which 2 weeks ago they say they have refunded but it has not shown up in my account and they pertain it has been done without sending me any evidence if it. I'm at a loss for words with their tone and attitude. Please dont think this is the original Petit Bateau we all knew and loved. There are so many gorgeous and unique hand crafted small companies out there now - give the small guys your support.

I know this brand for years.I wore this…

I know this brand for years.I wore this when I was a little girl(I'm now 51)I always liked the quality. However after bying a few tshirts (after 40 years)I was hoping it would meet my expectations, especially as it's expensive. After 1 wash my dark blue tshirt completely looked washed out(unwearable)and shrunk.I washed this on 30 degrees!Same for my other stripey tshirt.Overall not reccomend. Poor quality and very expensive. Never again!

Non-existent customer service

Recently ordered some baby items, including baby's coming home from hospital clothes. Was delivered via UPS but on a day that I was out. I had a notification saying it had been delivered, but there was no parcel at home, no delivery note, no photo evidence or description of where parcel was left. I raised a claim with UPS. They said 'We have been unable to locate your parcel. We will forward the search results to the shipper. Parcel Search Complete: if you have questions, please contact the shipper for further details'. So I contacted PB with the details, and have not heard a squeak from them. Have sent follow up emails, and still haven't heard anything. Would say customer service is awful, but seems it doesn't even exist.

Really bad client service

Really bad client service. Petit Bateau UK website is a scam and their customer care service abusive, dishonest and incompetent!
1/ Bad online order experience: I put an order through online. The website responded negatively to my order - rejecting the payment. Therefore I put the same order through again, and the payment was accepted.
However a few minutes later, I received 2 emails confirming the order twice!

2/After contacting the customer care service a few hours later, I was told the extra order couldn't be cancelled. I could only do that one hour after the order went through... however when I connected to my account, I tried and that wasn't possible.

3/ The person handling the call was unhelpful and very disagreeable. She wasn't willing to acknowledge there has been a bug on Petit Bateau Website and it was my fault if I had put the order (of the same items for the same person) twice!

4/ It's extremely unconvenient as this order is a gift. I will have to bother the mum of the newly born to resend me the parcel... I'm also away from the UK at the moment so how do I do that?...

What a nightmare... so frustrated to be talking to people who are unwilling to help and support their customers! I can't believe that in 2023 there isn't a way to cancel an order which is due in 8 days!
