Typical insurance, want money for nothing
Bought my cover via the Money Supermarket comparison site.
Cover details came through, checked the info and noticed that the exact birth date of my dog hadn't fully transferred across, details stated _/03/26
I amended the details to say 30/03/26 and got charged another £7 for the privilege.
Money for nothing as per!

Policy cost has increased quite a Bit. I used Topcashack and Petgevity have declined much is disappointing!

Premiums can increase at renewal for a few reasons. As pets get older, the risk of illness or injury tends to rise, which can affect the cost of cover. If you've made a claim, that can also impact your premium. Additionally, vet fees and treatment costs are rising across the industry, and these increases affect all policyholders — not just individual cases. Our prices are also regularly reviewed to remain competitive, but factors such as government tax changes, increased treatment and medication costs, and overall veterinary inflation have made it necessary to adjust our pricing to stay sustainable.
I can see that you were opted out of your renewal, and you have since taken a new policy out with us with different cover levels from what you initially had. Thank you for being a loyal customer with us,
