My online quote when retrieved same day could not be confirmed on the website as the payment page would continually loop back even after verify code was entered. I then tried the live chat who suggested I cleared all cookies which just logged me out of the chat session. Then I tried to requote after all cookies cleared only to encounter the same problems. Finally after 45 minutes on the phone the very helpful agent managed to retrieve & confirm the quote even with a very small reduction of the premium. I just hope any claim process is not so fraught in the future. Time will tell but the lifetime existing conditions quote was a decent saving from my existing cover which had skyrocketed under LV after 10 years. Fingers x

Having Petgevity cover puts our mind at rest completely. No matter what happens with our little dog we know she will be cared for in every way.

All very easy to raise a claim and responses and quick. Only reason for not giving a 5 star is that I cannot process the claim via the vets and just pay the vet the excess.

My experience with Petgevity has been extremely disappointing, despite providing all genuine supporting documents.

When I made a claim, instead of properly reviewing the documents I provided, the company appeared to look for reasons to avoid paying by attempting to void my insurance policy.

Their explanation was factually incorrect. They claimed that my cat had not had a veterinary check in the previous year. However, my cat was born this year, so it is impossible for her to have had records from the previous year.

My cat was adopted from the Scottish SPCA, where she received a full veterinary health check, vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment before adoption. I submitted all of the relevant documentation, yet it does not appear to have been properly reviewed.

They also questioned whether I was a UK resident and whether my pet lived with me, despite the information and evidence provided.

Based on my experience, the claims process has been handled poorly, with incorrect assumptions being made rather than a careful assessment of the evidence. I expected a fair review of my claim, but instead I received a decision based on inaccurate information.

I hope the company reviews claims more thoroughly in the future and ensures that all submitted documents are properly considered before making decisions that have significant consequences for policyholders.

The app was easy to us and guided you through the process easily.

Very disappointed that they didn't resolve a previous claim dispute however I renewed only because they were cheaper than Petplan

Update following the response. The new premium costs were not brought up by me. Nor did I say any claims were not settled. Please read reviews properly as this will help you to improve...stock answers will not

Amazing pet insurance. My little Westie became ill at 8 and after vet investigation it turned out to be Cushing’s Disease. Petgevity were wonderful with the claims, no quibbling or messing and paying the vet directly within 2 weeks. I was dreading the renewal cost though, knowing she was going to be on medication/treatment for life, but the renewal price turned out to be excellent and now I have peace of mind that her vet bills are covered and she can get the best care available to her.
