We had an early Peter Powell kite in the mid 1970s. It was a fine thing, light and flew so readily. Bought a new one several years ago from the Powell sons in Cheltenham, but it won't fly in anything but strong winds, far too heavy and seriously dangerous if it crashed out of the sky (which it does a lot) and hit someone. Buy instead a cheap, lightweight, steerable kite for greater safety, more use and fun.
Poor quality kite and terrible customer service. Refused refund on su5179141396b standard goods. Had to get ebay involved who ruled in my favour in under ten minutes. Poor experience dealing with these jokers. Beware
