Social media's most deplorable forum

Petermanseye.com was begun in 2008 by J Peterman Company, the internet clothier, as a foray into social media. It had 2-3 strong years in which interesting topics were rolled out each morning for discussion by Mr. Peterman. Since that time, it has degenerated into a grouchy retirement community tenanted by angry disgruntled elderly people who lash out at younger ones, even as the topics grow more and more dry, inane, and repetitive. The biggest problem with the forum appears to be the company itself, which enforces no conduct rules, and allows certain blowhards to abuse others. Petermanseye.com is a now a blue-hair, constipated clique.
