We sell hundreds of our folder panamas each year and have done so for a while now. Generally we have great success and I have to say that this is not a complaint that we receive from our customers, so I am terribly sorry. We would always recommend to take care to fold according to instructions provided, along the fold line to ensure the shape remains. Of course, these hats should not be stored for extended periods of time in a folded position.

Slightly distorted rim when opened box. Seems to have settled now, fingers crossed. Otherwise, perfect. Have yet to master and be confident of folding to put in tube.
