From my first contact with Pest Uk the technician Dave came to see my problem with honeycomb left in my chimney by nesting honeybees that had to be removed it was so wonderful to have my mind put at ease that this could be achieved. Scaffolding was erected and Dave and his team arrived on time to remove honeycomb and cap chimneys.
I called Pest UK as we had something living in our loft.
Dave identified it was rats and put down poison on his first visit. He also took the time to investigate the sewer pipes to make sure there were no other points of entry other than the obviously chewed plastic brick vent.
His second visit indicated the rats are gone but he’s coming for a third time to make sure.
He’s a knowledgeable guy and I was reassured about hygiene issues and whether the wiring was likely to be chewed, when to replace the brick vent, etc.
Pest UK were able to come out sooner and were half the price of Rentokil.
