I had an excellent experience ordering my outfit from Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop. Since I was ordering internationally, I was initially a little apprehensive, but the entire process was handled professionally from start to finish.

The team took great care in ensuring all my measurements were accurate, and they even customised the colours exactly to my preferences. The finished outfit was beautifully made and exactly as I had envisioned.

A special thank you to Riddhi, who was exceptional throughout the process. She kept me informed every step of the way, coordinated the shipping efficiently, and clearly explained the customs duties and delivery process. Her communication and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and stress-free.

The outfit arrived on time, fit perfectly, and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop to anyone looking for high-quality Indian fashion, especially if you’re ordering from overseas. Outstanding customer service and a wonderful shopping experience!

The website is very tempting first of all and it took ages to select amongst all the beautiful photos and available products. When i finally did the service was very quick, the necklace and earrings very safely and well packed and the package arrived by DHL safely.

Nawajish was critical in purchasing my wedding lehenga. She was very communicative and went out of her way to inform me of factors that would affect my order like time constraints and sales prices!

We are really disappointed with the order we received designer Neha Khullar instead of 3 component saree de received 2 component drapped saree from Pernia. This has been communicated to Henry Jackson and Shonney. From Pernia. Despite repeated follow-ups, I have not received the information I need. This delay is causing significant inconvenience, especially as the outfit is for an important occasion. Can you please help in this

Vishakha the customer service representative was wonderful. This individual was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my concerns regarding shipping.
I do, however, wish product shipping timeline, per item, on site was more specific.
I am.looking forward to receiving my items.

I reached out to Zaara regarding an issue with my Pernia order, and she was proactive, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. She assisted me in canceling the order, ensured the amount was credited to Pernia account, and even contacted other designers I was interested in purchasing from using the credit. As soon as she received updates from them, she immediately informed me. She also placed the new orders on my behalf, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.

DON'T BUY FROM PERNIA's POP-UP SHOP - RIDICULOUS LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Another day, the saga continues....

I received an offer from Pernia's Pop Up Shop for a $28.00 USD store credit, for 6 months, to offset the alteration fee that I incurred after I spent over $600.00 USD on two outfits. Pernia advertised pants with waistline 32-34 inches, but the pants that were delivered were only waist size of 33 inches, so they didn't fit. Do they really think that after multiple calls and emails that offering me a $28.00 store credit is satisfactory? I am not sure what, if anything, they are thinking because there is nothing in the store that sells for $28.00. I asked for a credit to my credit card.....based on the amount of time I have wasted trying to get this store to back up their product and service, they really should credit me for much more. BUYER BEWARE, customer service is non-existent!!

I ordered a Mahima Mahajan piece from Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop and had a very positive experience. The team responded to my queries properly and kept me reassured throughout. Most importantly, the order was delivered much ahead of the expected time, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and the timely delivery.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop.

Before placing my order, I specifically contacted the team to confirm the return policy as I was ordering a ready-to-ship outfit due to time constraints. I was informed that returns were possible, but I was never clearly told that this particular item would be non-returnable due to being discounted. If this had been communicated clearly at the time, I would not have proceeded with the purchase.

After receiving the dress, I found that the size was not suitable and contacted the team regarding a return. Unfortunately, my request was refused. I was willing to consider store credit as a solution, but this was also not resolved.

To make matters worse, when I opened the dress to arrange alterations, I noticed signs that the outfit appeared to have been previously handled/used, including foundation and perfume smells, along with a hole/damage on the dress. I shared images with the team, but despite raising this concern, I did not receive a satisfactory resolution.

I expected a premium shopping experience and better customer support, especially for a high-value purchase. The lack of transparency regarding the return eligibility and the handling of my complaint has been very disappointing.

I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and quality checks to avoid other customers having a similar experience.

Pernia pop up app, service and staff never disappoint and everyone onboard makes sure to maintain the high set standards.. this time Vishakha extended the service in a classy and friendly approach.. very informative, cooperative and flexible.. very much appreciated and all the very best always.

If I could give this shop zero stars, I would.

I ordered a $3,000 Seema Gujral gown for my wedding through Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop and received a product that was materially different from what was advertised. The colour was completely wrong and the design details were changed, all without consultation or approval.

Despite acknowledging that the item delivered was incorrect, the store refused to issue a refund, repeatedly hiding behind their “custom order” policy. This is unacceptable when the product supplied does not match what was sold. Policies do not override basic consumer rights when an item is not as described.

Instead of taking ownership, I was pressured to accept alternative products from their warehouse, which is not a reasonable solution weeks before a wedding.

Import duties paid on the faulty item were also effectively unrecoverable, leaving me out of pocket for a mistake that was entirely theirs.

What made this experience worse was the customer service. While their emails repeatedly said they were “sorry”, there was zero real accountability or empathy. At no point did they genuinely acknowledge their mistake or take ownership of delivering the wrong product. The apologies felt scripted and meaningless, especially when followed by an outright refusal to refund.

As a middleman selling high value designer products internationally, it is their responsibility to ensure quality checks and accuracy before shipping. That did not happen here, and the lack of accountability was extremely disappointing.

Only after I lodged a chargeback with my bank did they finally indicate they would accept the return of the gown. I was also asked to withdraw the chargeback request. Had I not pursued the matter through my bank, I have little confidence that any meaningful resolution would have been offered.

Proceed with extreme caution, especially if you are an overseas buyer.

I will never purchase from this store again, even for a low value item. I no longer trust this brand or their customer service.

Vijay and Lyleen were super helpful! This was my first purchase and they were patient and guided me through the whole process ensuring I was ready without being pushy. Amazing customer service from these two and I’ll definitely be purchasing again!

I was very happy with my experience with Pernia’s. There is a wide selection, delivery with UPS was convenient, and the purchases were exactly as ordered and fit well. The customer service is outstanding. I was contacted via WhatsApp as I made the order with support and instructions throughout delivery. Thank you to Henry Jackson D’Souza for the end to end help. I will order from Pernia’s again and highly recommend ordering from here.

This has to be the worst shopping experience for me ever! If I could give them a zero, I would. This company will take your money, and then refuse to return it, even when the error is their mistake!

They sent me an invoice for payment for a product I had requested, with the amount that was listed on their site.
I paid the amount, only to then realize that it was in the wrong currency! That too not through them, i learned that through my own credit card portal.
The invoice or their chat member never mentioned that the payment would be in the currency they charged me in!
I reach out to them, asking for the money to be refunded due to the mistake on their end.
They drag the whole process,first saying that they can give me store credit, mind you, for their own error, then saying that they need certain amount time to process the refund, but never actually process it . Since that time they have never sent me the confirmation of the process or the corrected invoice. I am still trying get my money back!
They lie and give you standard responses, but they do nothing to help! Its a headache and hassle I did not sign up for.

Honestly, if anyone can do without shopping with them, PLEASE AVOID THEM!

In response to your reply, you still haven't said anything about what you are going to about this. Your company still hasn't processed a refund. Are you just going to keep my money?
