We took the 12-day GEMS of Europe in Oct 2025. We have a very good experience. The journey schedule is very good. We visited the major point of interest, a lot of history sites and took a lot of pictures. The tour guide Jeffrey and local tour guide are very friendly and professional. All hotels we stayed are clean and luxury and meal were delicious.
In the future, we will join tours from Peony tours and also recommend to my friends.

Over all it a great experience. But the food was less than expected. Should try local food more than usual. Spent more time in Santorini.

Our China's Silk Road Discovery trip with Peony in October was wonderful as expected. I have been a long-term happy customer with Ritz/Peony and that trip again did not disappoint. I have traveled all over the world to over 70 countries and all 6 continents with several companies, and always went with Ritz/Peony for China. Having been to China many times, visiting Zhangjiajie last year, this time my younger son and I really looked forward to the Silk Road covering western China from Urumqi to Turpan in Xinjiang to Dunhuang to Zhangye to Xining to Lanzhou. It was truly a historical and cultural trip with many UNESCO World Heritage sites included. It was also a religious experience in a sense because even though I'm Christian, we visited 2 of the most famous Buddhist sites in China: Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang and Bingling Grottoes in Lanzhou. We also visited a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. It was also memorable to ride the camel in Dunhuang as well as walk the fortress of Jiayuguan, the western terminus of the Great Wall, and to take amazing photos against the backdrop of the Rainbow Mountains in Zhangye and Qinghai Lake on the Tibetan-Qinghai Plateau at 10,000 feet in elevation. Truly a wonderful itinerary and our tour manager, Gary Guan, was very organized, thoughtful and kind. Even though I don't speak Mandarin and this tour was mostly in Mandarin (Gary does speak fluent English), my son and I still appreciated every aspect of the historical and cultural significance of the cities and sites, making it a great "international field trip" for my son, who is homeschooled this year. The hotels were all 5 stars and the meals were all wonderful banquet style, not to mention all the delicious lamb dishes! I would highly recommend this Silk Road Discovery and would once again recommend Ritz/Peony. We have already signed up for Peony's Yunnan & Guizhou next October 2026! Can't wait...

Exploring Turkey with Davis and two other local guides was a wonderful experience. They provided expert explanations of the culture, geography, and history of each place. Davis frequently reminded us to be careful and keep our belongings safe. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary, starting in Ankara and ending in Istanbul. The guides gave us ample time to explore the local culture and history. The hotels were fantastic and comfortable. We especially loved the Turkish cuisine included in the itinerary. My husband and I felt relaxed, happy, and comfortable throughout the entire trip.

My wife and I recently joined Peony's 12-day 'Best of Eastern Europe' tour, and we were absolutely satisfied with the entire experience. The itinerary was superb, and the sightseeing was incredible. We were very happy with the accommodations; most, if not all, of the hotels were 5-star quality. The meals were mostly authentic, delicious local cuisine. Most importantly, our tour guide, Ocean Hu, was exceptionally professional. His explanations were insightful, systematic, and easy to understand. Thanks to him, we enjoyed a well-organized, safe, and truly relaxed trip. Thank you, Ocean and Peony. We will definitely book with you again for our future travels.

This is our second year with Peony. Overall, we had a wonderful trip, except the hotel in Croatia to find stink bug on the wall as well as the quality of the hotel we stayed for two nights in Prague was quite below expectation.

Our tour guide, Mr. Wei Chen has great experience and good sense of humor which made the entire trip worthwhile.

Having that said, I would hope Peony considers making both WeChat and LINE available with your tour guides, so for guests who only have either of apps on their phone can freely get daily information from the tour guide on the road.

As an English speaker in China, the tour guide went out of their way to make the tour enjoyable, mixing a little English with Mandarin to make everyone feel like part of the tour. The only downside of the tour is I would have liked a bit more personal time, but the Tour Guide kept a tight schedule on time.

Our recent Europe trip was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our incredible tour guide, Jeffrey. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, informed, and having a great time. His knowledge of history, culture, and local gems was impressive, he shared fascinating stories that brought each city to life, from the charming streets of Paris to the breathtaking scenery in Switzerland.
Jeffrey’s organization and attention to detail were remarkable. Everything ran smoothly, yet he still made the trip feel relaxed and flexible. He always checked in on each traveler, made sure no one was left behind, and somehow remembered everyone’s preferences, whether it was a favorite snack, a photo stop, or a special request.
What truly set Jeffrey apart was his warmth and enthusiasm. He has such a positive energy that made the group feel like family. His humor and kindness made long travel days enjoyable, and his passion for what he does truly shines through.
This trip exceeded all expectations, and Jeffrey played a huge role in making it such a memorable experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a European adventure, you couldn’t ask for a better guide!

1st trip to Eastern Europe, 2nd trip to Turkey October 2025. We had great time at both trips. Both trips we had great Peony tour guides amazed by their professionalism and knowledges of the visiting sites. On top of that they are humorous. Accommodations were good.

All is good, food are very delicious. Schedule is making sense. Driver work hard and always parking very close.

Especially our tour guide Davis: he is very professional , knowledgeable mostly very friendly, caring also has good humor ! I feel so lucky to have him as our guide. My husband and I joined Peony Tours on a Turkey tour from October 7th to 18th. This was our fourth time traveling with a Peony Tours group, and we chose Peony Tours again because of the wonderful experiences we had on our first three trips.

This trip to Turkey was truly enjoyable, with excellent food and accommodations, and each site held deep historical and archaeological significance. For us Christians, the most attractive was visiting four locations of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelation: Ephesus, Smyrna(Izmir), Pergamum, and Laodicea(Denizli/Pamukkale), as well as Iconium(Konya), where Paul preached. We also visited the Virgin Mary's final resting place in Ephesus.

But the greatest highlight was our tour leader, Davis (聂玉艇). He spoke fluent Chinese and English, was knowledgeable, and took excellent care of us. He possessed a deep cultural background, was friendly, and had a good sense of humor. He told jokes and sang songs on the bus, which helped ease our tiredness . He even arranged a Chinese meal to ensure we didn't get too tired of Turkish food. Knowing that some of us wanted to take photos of the ruins of the Church of Pergamum, he even instructed the driver to stop for us so we could get out and take photos. He walked an extra mile for us.
This was a truly unforgettable and enjoyable trip to Turkey, and we will highly recommend it to our friends.

I had an amazing time in Kenya, especially the incredible Safari trip I had arranged by Peony Tours. My Safari driver and guide Peter from Liberty was awesome and very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. I not only was able to successfully see all Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and African buffalos), I also had close-encounters with the giraffes, cheetah, wildebeests, hippos, gazelles, and many more other African animals and birds. The hotel and Game lodge accommodations where I stayed were also clean and comfortable with top-notch services and amenities.

I would highly recommend to friends and family this once a lifetime wonderful safari travel with Peony.

This trip is one of the best I've had with Peony/RITZ. Really wanted to leave review on how much this is why they are my always go to on tours. Many recommend other companies like Sinet or Globus staining they are high quality, but I give total kudos to Peony. It is professionalism at its best.

This was a very informative and well planned and guided tour. Everyone of course will have different options and reviews of locations but Shanghai, Jacky explained and showed us things out of the routine. Wuzhen was absolutely gorgeous town. Would like to gor back again, Zhangjiajie was also beautiful although weather was kind of nasty. Changsha was eh.. But definitely great that got to go once. So was absolutely great itinerary and the things we got to do and see were outstanding.

Best part was the people we met and Jack's absolute professionalism at its best! At end of the trip this ended up so much better than I expected and hoped. Was a great group of people, wished the trip was a week longer. As for JACKY? Hard to describe his professionalism... He tried to take care of every indivi/family as best as he could. I felt he went out of his way, exactly the kind of person I would like handling my company. Very meticulous and precise. His wechat updates and daily schedule plus weather and procedures for airports were spot on and so helpful. Peony itself provides absolutely the best. From all the hotels and restaurants they provided, no complaints. Not every town will habe four seasons or RITZ but would say probably best of each location.

Long review but want to say thank you too Peony and Jacky. Have so many more planned with them and hope to have Jacky on all my China tours. Great great experience!!

It was an unforgettable experience in England.
The weather was so nice and beyond our imagination (it was England’s raining season in October , but we didn’t even have one raining day in two weeks), the places we visited were beautiful , and what made the trip so impressive was our tour guide Eddie Chen. He was very knowledgeable, very experienced, very enthusiastic, and most importantly, he really took good care of our needs. And he always made sure we arrived the places with good timing, so we got to see the beautiful sunset at Carlton Hill in Scotland.
I definitely would like to join his tour in the future.
