I was referred to Pension Works to look at a DB pension. Andrew Murphy was very easy to deal with, explained things very clearly and above all listened to understand my needs, objectives and concerns. Communication in any dealings to date has been first class.

Paul Chester made what can be a difficult process as easy as possible. He made a clear case for both the pros and cons of transferring out of a defined benefit scheme whilst listening to and understanding my needs. He worked quickly and efficiently and was easy to reach when I needed questions answered...any easy 5/5 from me.

From start to finish everything was comfortable and reassuring,Andrew explained everything with a easy manner so I understood what was at times above my head!

I was seeking expert advice on the wisdom (and my suitability) to transfer funds from a deferred defined benefit pension to a money purchase SIPP. From our first telephone conversation PW gained my confidence with their extensive knowledge of the pension sector and thoroughness of their approach. Every stage of the process was completed on a timely basis with thorough explanations and patiently answered questions. Funds have now transferred and sit in three separate investment funds within a SIPP wrapper which perfectly fits my investment risk profile. I was advised that I should not transfer. Pension Works had the incentive of a five figure fee to push this transfer through but they didn't take it. After all their excellent work they charged me nothing.

I was put in touch with Pension Works after not having much success in moving my Defined Benefit Pension, which I considered was a relatively small pot and would not greatly make a difference if left as it was.
I was given a telephone appointment with Alastair Milner and I was very impressed with how professional he was in talking through the step by step process together with the Pro's and Con's in arranging a transfer. He explained things very well and was always at the end of the phone if I was unsure about anything.
Alastair took on board my reasons for wanting to move my DB pension which were mainly health issues and was very sympathetic as to why I was requsting the transfer.
