Fine cases, terrible shipping
The cases are good now they're here (a little chunky and my iPhone 16e case isn't actually specifically for that phone as listed and has a big camera opening for a different model) but they took weeks to arrive. The tracking information was useful as they created the label and then didn't post it for another week. I eventually contacted customer service but they didn't even reply until another week later, after the cases actually arrived.
Slow customer service, poor transparency, wrong items!
At the end of December, I ordered a pair of phone cases with their BOGO deal. At no point during the ordering process did it say the cases are made to order and would first need to be manufactured before being shipped. It just says the processing is 2-7 days. I emailed customer service asking about the whereabouts of my order after more than a week passed and it was a few days later that I was told they were still in process. The cases finally shipped and I thought that was the end of it. After a three week wait, my cases arrived and I opened the package to discover I received the wrong cases! I emailed customer service immediately and was given the option of a refund or the correct cases the very next day. I opted for the correct cases to be sent to me. It took more than a week and a half for Pela Case to respond to this subsequent email and put in the order for the correct cases. By the time the correct cases get to my doorstep, February will be halfway done. For the amount of money I paid, even with the BOGO deal, this is completely unacceptable. This is the last time I will be ordering cases from this company.

The cases arrived 1 month after I ordered them, with very few tracking info and no customer support. I had to pay a €10 customs fee upon delivery, which was not indicated anywhere on the website at the time of purchase.
The cases look nice, but I don't know if they're going to last long.
This feels like a SCAM
This feels like a SCAM! I placed my order about 1 month ago. I received a shipping information 10 days later with zero tracking information in it. Customer service is unresponsive.
Quality sadly not safisfactory
I liked the feel of the case but found the addition of the magsafe not satisfactory and the sides of the case are getting sloppy, ie don't fit neatly around the phone any longer. I'll now replace it but not with Pela, I am sorry to say.
I would also like much more inforations as to the composition of the material. It is a pricey item!
Long wait, no customer support, don’t bother
I ordered a case on 2nd January and it still hasn’t arrived (we’re on the 26th now). The website gives you tracking but this whole time it just states that the label has been created. I contacted customer support last week and there’s still been no reply. I don’t mind waiting for the two cases I ordered but to not give an accurate time frame for when it’ll arrive in the U.K. or even an update on its delivery is very poor. I will not be ordering from here again.

Poor customer service, long delays
I've been a loyal Pela customer for years. I really value and their support their mission and product and I've recommended it to family and friends on countless occasions.
The product is brilliant, but this review reflects my most recent experience in regards to customer service and a very delayed delivery.
I purchased the product on 15th January and at the time of writing this review it still hasn't arrived. Through using the tracking number it said a parcel was created from 17th January.
When I chased this up I eventually got a generic message that it's a busy time for the company. When I asked about why the package still hasn't left the warehouse I have received no further communication from Pela despite me chasing on two more occasions.
I paid £50 for this phone case, which is a lot of money in this climate and I'm willing to pay it to support their environmental cause BUT this will probably be the last time I purchase through Pela as the customer experience has been very poor.

Very slow international delivery
I’m sure the cases are great, but delivery to the uk is very slow and the website does not give accurate shipping information. After waiting a few weeks for the case, I emailed Pela and the response is that “ International orders usually take up to 6 weeks to arrive.”. If I’d have known this I wouldn’t have ordered the case. The website really should give this information before orders are placed. Feel a bit misled especially as the cases are expensive.
Cases are nice but customer support is awful
The cases are nice but customer support has gotten atrocious. I've previously gotten a response in a day or two, now it's been weeks and I don't hear back after multiple attempts reaching out.
Hope you don't have any problems with their case if you buy one!

Their case feels so much better than what I normally order. Very soft and fits my phone well. Other cases do not feel as good.
Ill-fitting case and empty screen protector
I purchased Pela cases around 6 or 7 years ago and was very satisfied. I recently purchased a new case for my Pixel 7 and their liquid screen protector. Upon receipt, I was disappointed to see that the case was extremely tight and didn't fit the phone properly, mainly around the top half where the camera is. The camera window is stretched and misshapen and on the front the edges of the case are not flush with the edges of the screen on that top portion. The case stays in place, but it looks bad and the screen edges are more exposed than I would like.
The screen protector, offered as a free gift but supposedly worth $30, was an empty bottle.
I wrote to Pela to ask them about both of these things but am yet to receive any reply. It seems they have gone downhill in the few years since I first purchased products from them.
I will likely buy a new case and will also need to buy a screen protector elsewhere, which is a shame, because I really do respect and believe in Pela's mission.

Wrong Case and Customer Service is Terrible
I chose this company because I love what that stand for and they claimed that their cases provided protection similar to an OtterBox case. It's not the case that is the issue though I RECEIVED THE WRONG ORDER. And usually that wouldn't bother me and I didn't so much at first however after waiting well over the stated two weeks it would take to arrive and attempting to contact customer service for days I am now upset. So I recommend you save your time and money and get your case elsewhere.

terrible shipping / customer service, lovely cases
Love the case itself (would probably give 4 or 5 stars) just giving 2 stars as a flag on shipping for folks. I ordered this case on December 4th and paid for expedited shipping (which they estimate as 2-4 days) but it didn't show up until December 12th. I also just ordered a second case 11 days ago and still don't have a tracking number. When I contacted customer service I was told it can take 6 weeks for shipping internationally (I'm in the UK). Once I did receive an update that it shipped (On January 8th) it has simply said "Parcel Created" and hasn't changed since the 8th (it's now the 13th). I respect this might just be impatience on my end, but sharing here as an FYI.
So again, lovely cases and I really like what Pela is doing with non-toxic products, but just a warning to folks who didn't realize how long these actually take to receive.

Late and poor quality
Iam very disappointed for a few reasons:
1 - It was not clear at all during the ordering process that the case was coming from Canada to Europe. I had to pay more than 30 EUR in customs clearance in order for it to be delivered. This was not expected nor communicated at all.
2 - The delivery was severely delayed. I ordered this as a Christmas gift and it came extremely late (well after Christmas)
3 - The case does not even fit the phone well. It needs to be removed in order to charge it (the bottom hole doesn't line up with the charging location).

There are many reasons to love Pela…
There are many reasons to love Pela phone cases including the reduction in plastic waste, great designs, being a Canadian company, etc. But the most important reason, for me, is customer service. From the time I placed by order to the product receipt and recently, the replacement of a cracked screen, I have been treated very well.
