I did the September 2025 LEJOG and despite some awful weather, Paul and Bob always got us to our destinations safely and in good spirits. The brew stops were just when you needed them and well stock... See more

LEJOG August 2023
Just completed LEJOG with Pedal Britain. Excellent organisation both before setting off and during the trip. Peter 'The Van' and Mick 'The guide' worked seamlessly together to make the experience the best ever. Book, you wont regret it !
Great cycling experience- LEJOG with Pedal Britain
Route planning is outstanding, tour organizing was professional and cyclist comaraderie was strong throughout. We are planning on another cycle trip with Pedal Britain.
Great experience on LEJOG
Great experience on LEJOG , great comms in the lead up , very well organised , you def won’t get hungry as Pete & Jude’s brew stops & organised meals made the cycling a breeze ! Darren’s choice of route was well thought out! Will be doing another with them soon !
Pedal Britain the best way to cycle LE JOG
The Pedal Britain team were fantastic, supportive and well organised. The route avoided main roads, allowing us to enjoy the magnificent scenery Britain has to offer. The brewstops and lunches were well planned at locations , just when you needed a break . The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Thank you Darren and Les I would definitely do another tour with you
Consummate professionalism with added fun
Just returned from Ireland E2E, led by guides Peter and Jude, who did a great job. From start (pre-trip comms) to finish (transporting bikes back home), Pedal Britain had everything organised with almost military precision - but with lots of fun added. Every day, we knew exactly what was coming (except for the weather!), via Jude's "magic numbers" message - total distance, ascent, distance and location of brew stops and lunch stops, etc. There were inevitably a few "mechanicals" en route and although we were a constantly-moving travelling circus, somehow Peter and Jude found a solution. The scenery along the route was absolutely stupendous, especially the Wild Atlantic Way. Accommodation, although very variable, was always at least acceptable (and very often exceptional). Evenings were fun, and also flexible - no pressure to join the party for dinner if you wanted to stay in and recover, or venture out on your own. Whether or not you did want to join the party, Jude often sent lots of choices of dining at every evening spot, so you didn't even have to deal with the hassle of finding somewhere. On the road, Peter very quickly assessed the riding style and fitness of the riders, and you always felt he was only a message away if you came unstuck. He also provided mechanical and riding advice on the road, in a way that was friendly (not judgemental or patronising). Overall, I would summarise this trip as the best-organised of the 6 multi-day trips I have taken previously. Last comment: I don't know how Darren did it, but this was also the loveliest group of people I've ridden with on any of these trips!
They let you focus on the riding, and take care of everything else
Pedal Britain make the enormous task of riding LEJOG as easy as possible, by taking care of food, water, hotels, breakdowns so you only have to think of the ride. They are competent and experienced. Highly recommend.
Pedal Britain LEJOG 2023 (July Edition)
Joined Darren for LEJOG 2023 (July edition) and had the experience of a lifetime! I couldn't recommend Pedal Britain more highly for a fantastically well organised trip. Whether travelling alone or with a friend or partner, this is the way to do LEJOG if you want fully supported and hassle-free scenic cycling over 14 days. Made some great new friends and stayed in accommodation that was always clean and comfortable. Good food and vibrant après velo guaranteed!
Just got back from LEJOG (July 2023)
Just got back from LEJOG (July 2023)
Darren and the Pedal Britain team could not have organised it better. Military precision all the way. Even when unforeseen events occurred they dealt with them without fuss or drama. I would highly recommend Pedal Britain and I am already looking to book up the France trip for next year. I loved every minute of this trip.
Thanks again Darren et al !!!!!
I shopped around on the Internet for a good deal
I shopped around on the Internet for a Lejog tour and weighed up the pros and cons of each company. Pedal Britain seemed to offer the best experience and after completing the tour I definitely chose the right company. Darren's excellent comms before the tour started and during the tour were excellent and made life so easy for me, as is the company motto, all you have to do is Pedal Britain. I certainly had no stress whatsoever before and during which is exactly what I wanted. The route was awesome, I'm sure there are quicker ways and also harder ways to do a Lejog but our route was spot on, no hill too steep and no day too long. Thank you Pedal Britain.
Ireland End to End
Ireland End to End was my second cycling experience with Pedal Britain after LEJOG in 2022 (I’ve already booked a third trip for next year!) Everything about PB is a pleasure. From the booking process, and regular updates before departure, to the excellent choice of routes, hotels, and food. The tour guides provide the perfect amount of support, expertise, encouragement, and good humour, making the whole experience a pleasure. Darren and his team have created a great business, mixing professionalism with an ethos which makes you feel part of a family. Now a veteran of multi-stage cycling tours with various companies, I cannot recommend Pedal Britain highly enough. They are by far the best I’ve experienced. Until the next time 😊🚴🏻♀️
Ireland End to End, didn’t want it to end!
Ireland End to End… and wished it would never end!
My first ever cycling tour and such an enjoyable experience. Really well organised from the moment we touched down in Cork to waving goodbye in Belfast. Good quality hotels, fab coffee/cake/picnic/brew stops provided by Jude en-route, and also Peter always on hand to provide experienced cycling advice but also lifted the mood with lots of humour. Even the days when the weather wasn’t ‘Summer’ didn’t dampen the spirits.
Highlight was the other cyclists though. Met some really lovely people and although some parts were pretty challenging, encouragement got every one of us through (aged from 40 to 74!).
Thanks Darren and Pedal Britain… and especially Peter and Jude… the suggestion of making up Limericks was a great idea!…
There once was a group from Pedal Britain,
Who cycled the length from Malin to Mizen,
We’d thank Jude as she brewed,
And Peter for lifting the mood
And of course we’ll tell Darren that we were all smitten!
Excellent advice and support
Excellent advice and support before the event.
The cycle guides (Pete and Jude) were always available to offer encouragement (physical, emotional and mechanical) at all times; nothing was too much trouble for them.
Meals and tea stops offered a wide variety of foods and catered for various food allergies.
Lots of different option for the bike transfers at each end; all went smoothly.
Fantastic camaraderie from day one.
I’m glad that I chose PB, as they took us to the west of Scotland and through the memorable Glen Coe valley to Fort William.
I cannot thank Darren and the PB team enough.
I thoroughly recommend PB to anyone considering LEJOG.
Excellent tour and very well organised
Excellent organisation, encouragement & support.
Excellent organisation, encouragement & support throughout the trip. Great route, larger than expected hotel rooms, good breakfasts & lunches included. Wide variety of savoury & sweet snacks at the regular brew stops. Good mixture of group and ‘do your own thing’ evening meals. Good options for bike transfers to the start and from the end. Plenty of laughs along the way !
A fabulous 2 weeks of cycling
A fabulous 2 weeks of cycling, smiles and scenery. The opportunity for issues to arise was very high but the Pedal Britain team were really experienced and had planned everything brilliantly. Peter and Jude, our guides for the trip, sorted out any minor issues really well and that allowed the group to become a team of friends by the end. I’ll be adding some of Peter’s jokes to my dad collection
Completed Wales End to End in July 2023

Brilliant route and organisation. Great snacks en route and amazing guides. Highly recommend Pedal Britain for routes, support and guides.
A fantastic trip
A fantastic trip. Well organised and planned by Darren along quiet roads with breathtaking scenery. Ade was absolutely incredible, with his outstanding brew stops and lots of moral and practical help along the way. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation and restaurant bookings were well planned so that all you have to do is pedal. I would definitely book again with pedal Britain.
Wales End to End - fantastic weekend
Absolutely fantastic supported tour across Wales. Organisation superb, brilliant route and so well looked after. I couldn’t recommend enough. Ade and Jackie were amazing - all you had to think about everyday was just getting on your bike and riding, everything else sorted for you. Great bunch of people on the trip too. Having been on other supported trips, Pedal Britain in a league of its own - can’t wait to ride with them again
Fabulous Wales E2E
Just completed Wales end to end, my second trip with Pedal Britain (NC500 last year), both of which have been superb. As a cyclist himself Darren really knows how to make a great trip - routes, logistics, hotels, support and refreshments were excellent, and our guides Ade and Jackie were all round brilliant - organised and professional, but also fun and encouraging. Would definitely recommend and hope to join future trips!
Wales End to End
Wales end to end was a well organized trip with a lovely group of people. All accommodation, food and bike storage was sorted ~ all you needed to do was pedal. Routes were given in advance, information you needed for the day was given early. Some tough climbs in there but this gave a great sense of achievement. Thanks very much to Ade, Jackie & Darren
