Great company…

Riding LEJOG with Pedal Britian was made much easier with the excellent guides, Jamie and Rad, who allowed everyone to ride at a pace suitable for them, whilst still managing to include everyone and ride with all at some point.
Route plans broken down into easily manageable sections with great lunch stops and brew stops in between.
A long and challenging ride made doable and fun, despite the British weather and dreadful Scottish roads.

Exceptional LEJOG experience - highly recommended

Myself and my wife have just completed LEJOG with Pedal Britain. It was an incredible experience and one we will never forget. Pedal Britain are superb - every detail is managed for you so all you have to do is, well, pedal. The organisation, transportation, "brew stops", route are all spot-on and everything we had hoped for. Jamie and Rad were our guides and they were simply exceptional - motivational, entertaining, and kept spirits high when the weather didn't want to play! We would 100% recommend this company and will be booking again. Thank you!

Lejog! Just do it ❤️

I rode Lejog with Pedal Britain in July. A great experience from booking to the finish. A stunning route, nice places to stay, fab and imaginative lunch and Brew stops. Thanks to Jamie and Les for managing us all supremely and going the extra mile. I’ve just booked for France next year!

LEJOG #2

Having previously completed LEJOG with Pedal Britain in August 2019 I had no doubts or hesitation signing up to do LEJOG again. From the very first email to reaching John O’Groats the communication and organisation were outstanding. Magic numbers every day to the brew and lunch stops, something there for everyone. Jamie our guide, what a man with a vast cycling knowledge to a wicked sense of humour and Les at every brew and lunch stop, top man catering for all dietary requirements. I cannot fault Pedal Britian and have know hesitation in recommending them to all who like cycling. This was my 2nd LEJOG the only thing missing this time at brew stops was the Pedal Britain Flag a useful tool when off the beaten track. Looking forward to another tour in 2025, possibly Portugal.

Wales End 2 End

What an amazing experience.
The 3 days were tough with LOTS of climbing but Darren and Ade made sure all we had to think about was pedalling. The organisation was first class and if you are considering a Pedal Britain tour, just book, you won't regret it!
Definitely the best experience I have had on my bike.

Great trip leaders

Generally good route, great trip leaders, good food, good overall value. Jamie and Les were group leaders that went above and beyond expectations and went out of their way to provide little things of assistance for you if you were having any issues. The morning briefing could sometimes be too much information and might be improved by limiting to three main points each day.

Ireland End to End - Fabulous and challenging!

I would have been lost and hungry without Mick and Paul (our cycle guide & van driver). The brew stops, encouragement and organization was excellent. Stunning scenery - castles, cliff tops, beaches, national parks and lots of ups and downs. Thank you Pedal Britain for a great tour.

LEJOG in June/July with Pedal Britain

Road LEJOG in June with Pedal Britain. It was superbly organized and a fantastic experience. The guides Mick and Radu were experienced and professional and onhand to help, encourage and guide you through everyday, they were great fun too. The only thing they couldn't sort was the weather. I would strongly advise you make room for good quality waterproof jackets and overshoes, (we had 5 days of rain in July) in your baggage, hopefully you won't need them but you'll thank me if you do. Overall a great experience and achievement

A Bucket-List Experience made even better by Pedal Britain

Recently completed LEJOG with Pedal Britain. This was a bucket-list experience for me and I am still buzzing.
Although it can be done solo/unsupported, I decided last year that I wanted to do it through a company with a support vehicle.
Pedal Britain were amazing from the time I first booked right through to the end. Darren handled all the initial booking/organisation and was very helpful from the off. Between us we agreed a place I could meet so they could get my bike down to Penzance for the start, so I only had to get myself and luggage down to them.
I was very apprehensive when I got down to Penzance, did I do enough training? Have I packed enough/too much etc., but I soon discovered that is quite normal and all 16 of us in the group pretty much felt same thing. I need not have worried, straight away Mick (our support van driver) and Radu (guide cyclist) made us all feel at ease.
I packed about 10kg of fuel, bars, gels, powder etc., that I would ‘normally’ use on long single rides solo. I did not use ANY of it! After a hearty breakfast every day, it was only about 1-2 hrs before we had our morning ‘Brew Stop’. These are legendary and Mick would provide Tea, Coffee, Juice, cakes, pastries, biscuits, crisps, choc bars etc – more than enough to keep your belly full and ready for the next couple hours riding to Lunch. You only ever really needed water in your bottle – and those were easily filled at breaks. On longer days we had a ‘brew stop’ in afternoon too. The riding itself was at a comfortable pace most of the time, generally broke into smaller groups of 3, 4, or 5 on the road (better for safety) and plenty of time for conversation and of course fun and banter.
The accommodation Pedal Britain organised was always fabulous with everything you needed (good shower being No 1 for me) and comfortable beds.
The whole group got on like a house on fire. I don’t know if I was lucky or this was the norm, but we really did feel like a ‘family’ (and that includes Mick and Radu). Mick and Radu as well as organising everything day to day were always on hand for mechanicals and punctures etc.
The routes that Pedal Britain chose were mostly quiet country roads and lanes, with some bike paths and we only ended up on busy A-roads when it was unavoidable. If you want to see the beauty of the British countryside this is the only way to do it. Only thing I would say is prepare for any weather. We were in July and it was wet and cold in parts of Scotland – so bring your warm jacket, winter bibs, leg warmers and waterproof overshoes just on case! Pedal Britain cannot do anything about the weather in a British summer, but even if you have days of rain (we had a lot) it never dampened our spirits and we all had a great time.
Pedal Britain do other tours to France, Portugal, Ireland and Italy outside UK and some of our group are considering doing another next year, if finances permit.
I could go on and on how great this trip was and how great the folks at Pedal Britain are, but for now, if you are considering using them, don’t hesitate, Pedal Britain will look after you from beginning to end and you have an experience of a lifetime. We all still keep in contact via WhatsApp and am sure I made friends for life too. Can’t wait for next trip.

Wales End to End

Just completed the 3 days of Wales End to End.
Everything was very well organised with clear guidance for when and where we needed to ride.
There were also lots of little touches to make things special. That included ensuring my gluten free dietary requirements were completely covered.
The community spirit was so evident from helping a cyclist not on our trip with lunch. Also that a previous client took time out of his day just to come and give us encouragement up one of the mountains (of which there are a few!)
Would definitely record

Superb tour. Go Pedal Britain.

Another Fantastic tour with the guys from Pedal Britain. Having completed LeJog in 2022 I had no hesitation in recommending them to my friend for his first tour. The Wales end to end tour. We completed the tour today after 3 Fantastic days of riding the the valleys and mountains of Wales. Yet again the attention to detail from Darren and the team ensured the event went without hiccups. Our tour guide Ade was extremely supportive and knowledgeable about the area, upcoming climbs, road surfaces etc which is needed when riding in new areas. Thanks again Pedal Britain. See you in 2026. Ireland end to end.

Couldn’t recommend Pedal Britain highly…

Couldn’t recommend Pedal Britain highly enough. From the off, the comms from Darren were very clear and informative, without being excessive. I called him a few times for queries and was always reassured that everything would be fine - as it was.

Darren is a natural organiser and was able to easily resolve any minor issues that arose. I had a few minor mechanical issues with my bike, that Les swiftly resolved. Another rider needed to use the spare bike for the last two days, which confirmed that I made the right decision to go ‘supported’.

The hotels, lunches and evening meals were spot on. Obviously some were better than others - often dictated by the remote locations, but it was all fine. No complaints. The famous Brew Stops were legendary and were always stocked with every type of snack you could possibly want.

In summary, if you are considering LEJOG, look no further than Pedal Britain. Do the training and Darren and team will ensure that you have a superb experience as I did.
