Pear Tree House Holiday Cottage Reviews 

We spent a lovely week at Pear Tree House. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very well equipped and immaculately clean, with lots of thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable. Ben and Rosie are the perfect hosts: solicitous but not intrusive.
Sutton on the Forest is ideally situated for exploring the area with York, Helmsley, Castle Howard all nearby.
We particularly appreciated being able to take our dog with us to Pear Tree House, rare in a property of this quality. There are easy dog walks just across the road, with a lovely tea room to call in en route.
We will definitely return.

Fabulous house, great location, delightful hosts. Pear Tree House is an absolute gem. Everything about it is just lovely, the village is great, with a really nice pub, but the house itself is just everything you could want for a great stay. Superb kitchen and lounge, really well equipped and cosy at the same time. Beautifully decorated and great quality beds, bedding and towels. We could easily have just moved in and stayed there! You will look long and hard to find somewhere as lovely as this. 5 stars in every respect.

Home from home. Lovely Cottage in perfect setting. Absolutely lovely! we enjoyed our one week stay here relaxing & chilling. Comfy everything, clean, spacious and well equipped. It is always an absolute pleasure staying at Pear Tree House. It was our third stay and we know we can always rely on impeccable hospitality from Rosie and Ben. Thoughtful amenities, a beautiful location and everything you need for a cosy, clean stay. Pear Tree House is our go-to accomodation when visiting Yorkshire!

Pear Tree Cottage is a beautifully well-maintained 3 bed cottage. It is decorated throughout to a very high standard and is 'high-end' holiday accommodation. The kitchen has very high spec equipment. The beds are comfortable and the shower is wonderful! The walled garden is perfect to sit and relax in on a warm day. Ben and Rosie are splendid hosts with a great deal of knowledge about the local area and beyond.
The village is well-situated for visiting the magical city of York and for exploring the wider area, including the Dales, Moors and rugged Yorkshire coast.
We hope to return really soon to continue our explorations!

An immaculately presented house with a lovely mixture of old and new. Very light kitchen/ dining and lounge area, looking out to a pretty courtyard. Very detailed instructions to guide you. Set in a pretty village, with easy access to countryside and York.
