Relentless spammer
No business relationship exists between myself and this entity, aside from me emailing their administrative contact (which I found on whois.com). I've emailed them twice so far, to request that they stop spamming me. The first day - April 21st - they sent two nuisance emails, out of the blue. The second day, they did it five more times. In the last 24 hours, they've sent ten. They've hit me with 31 scammy emails so far, in five days' time.
No reply to my email requests, either. The only response has been to increase the number of daily misrepresentations, I guess you'd call them; I'd be willing to guess that officials at Aflac and National Debt Relief have no idea that a random spammer is using their companies to dupe consumers.
As mentioned, the emails arrive "from" various company names, which are mostly always different. (They have used "Gerber Life" twice now, so perhaps they're running out of legitimate companies to impersonate.)
Regardless of the company name in the Sender line, the messages always come from the email address 'mailer(at)info.strokesurpayment.com'. Each message says something to the effect of, 'If you don't like receiving all these emails, just Unsubscribe here...'
Um, no - not a chance. That's a classic scammer's trick, including a sketchy "Unsubscribe" link that loads up your system up with malware and/or ransomware when you click it. And why should I have to Unsubscribe to something I never subscribed to in the first place??
The physical address they list at the end of every email is for a UPS Store in Kingman, AZ, the same location shown on the company's website. So I'm also contacting the region-appropriate consumer protection agencies this week as well. They need to know about this ongoing spoofing of health and life insurance companies, online universities, debt relief agencies, vacation packages and emails that can only be described as AI-written masterpieces, generated from spam-creation prompts.
Doing business with this company is basically rewarding an incessant spammer.
5.7.25 UPDATE: I've got over 100 spam emails from this specimen as of today. Is there a stronger word for 'relentless' when you're being harrassed by someone like this? Will file updates with consumer reporting agencies as well.
