Sent my LCR30 in for repair about 4/5 days ago, now it’s back and like new, fantastic service.
I own a few of Peak’s divides an can thoroughly recommend them all, quick easy and accurate testing of components.

I have been using their products, LCR, ESR, DCA testers for many years and they have proven invaluable for fault finding and electronics work. Brilliant company who stand by their products and are very helpful in case of any issues.

On Friday my LCR40 - a vital part of my lab for over 20 years - failed completely.
I rang Peak and they said that, If I got it to them, they would taken a look. So on Monday I drove over to Buxton and left it with them.
The following day as I was sitting down to dinner Jeremy drove up to deliver my LCR40: repaired reprogrammed, recalibrated and with three new batteries .
At a cost one third of the price of a new one. Brilliant service.

I had a problem with my LRC40 , I contacted Peak , they got straight back to me by email , I sent them the relevant information about my problem & a photo as requested. I was sent a replacement unit , no ifs ands or buts , it arrived & is working perfectly . I am an Ex Brit , living in Hawaii this cost me nothing , I am so grateful & happy they customer relations are alive & well at Peak Electronic Design .

I love my ESR70 (capacitor tester) & DCA75 (semiconductor analyser), they get used all the time. I would be lost without them as they make it so easy to identify semiconductor pinouts or check out capacitors when repairing old electronics.

I recently sent both units in for a display upgrade. They were upgraded and sent back within a day, wow what great customer service! Both units arrived back with a new backlit display which makes a whole world of difference, it’s much easier to read the information on the display now.

A great company who offers outstanding customer service and their technical support is second to none. A huge thanks to Jeremy and the team at Peak Electronic Design Ltd, you are simply amazing!

Purchased a LCR40(early model) many years ago. It had become my go to tool for measuring: capacitors, resistors & inductor's tolerances to use the most accurate components when renovating amplifiers, guitar wiring looms & effects pedals but the list is obviously endless.
When restoring an old Technics 1980’s class A digital amplifier, I forgot to discharge the high voltage capacitors and blew the internals. Although I could’ve repaired it; the very early models cannot be calibrated or upgrade to LCR45 or update the firmware. I managed to get a new, old stock LCR 40 & send it off, to be upgraded to a LCR45.
The service is second to none. A super fast turnaround time and it was well worth the upgrade as there’s more screen information and it’s quicker. I was lost without this bit of kit. Especially reading resistors as some of the colours are hard to define and tiny writing on capacitors doesn’t help with my eyesight these days.
A great company with excellent communication and the service is better than you bargain for. Don’t take my word for it. Find out for yourself

Whenever I need service on one (be that new cables or a software update) I've found Jeremy's service exemplary, extremely speedy turnaround and a quality product/repair, and keen prices to match.

Don't even hesitate to buy into this company's products , just do it!

I bought my first PEAK analyser in 2011, and I was curious how these bits of magic came into being and Jeremy Siddons was kind enough to give me the time of day by explaining how he’d been into electronics since a very early age and built a LED oscilloscope when he was 16. I now have a total of four PEAK analysers which help me construct guitar effects pedals and just noodle around with electronics. These analysers take the guesswork, and the misreading of components, out of much of the construction.
I recently had a minor problem with the display of one analyser, I pre-paid on the website and posted it on the 4th July, it was confirmed received, repaired and shipped by PEAK on the 5th and it was back through my front door on the 6th. The repair was conducted at the hands of Jeremy Siddons himself, I was gobsmacked.
I have just bought two stands and they are just what I needed, excellent additions to my small collection of equipment.
Jeremy has the personal touch, and this is reflected in his company’s culture it seems.
Jeremy, his wife and the company deserve every success.

Just had my well used Peak ESR70 tester updated/recalibrated by them, fast turn around and some extras included without charge. 10/10 for value & service.

I cannot recommend their equipment highly enough.
If it were an 1-10 scale, it would be an 11.
To boot, they are a friendly company, happy to help, answer questions and solve problems etc.
I spoke with them and they know what they are talking about.

The test equipment is all simple to use, basically idiot proof! Mind you they can be so ingenious!
They will Identify the parameters of the component. They cannot tell you what an unmarked component is, but you can get its parameters. That way if you wish, you can choose an equivalent one if need be.
Obviously, they cannot tell you anything about a component that has failed and has had its ID scrubbed off. Which manufactures do, do.
If the component is within the limits of the test equipment and functional, it will tell you everything you need to know. If its outside the limits it will not necessarily show anything, this to be expected.
It helps if you are good with electronics (I trained in electronics) as this will help with interpreting the results of the tests, but it is not essential. You can always use a good DVM etc, to check some things out as well.

A handy little device is much more convenient than getting out a Labs worth of test gear!

I have them all bar the network test kit and that is on the cards for the future.

As I said, great handy kit. Good size and in nice portable cases, up to 2 in each. so I have 3 cases, no larger than A4 and about 1 inch thick.

To any prospective Peak Electronic Design customer : we are a small business which required a series of controlling circuit boards redesigning and remanufacturing . This involved some painstaking investigation , research and some clever ingenuity all of which was provided by Peak and resulted in a new set of circuit boards of highest operational quality (their appearance was also hugely improved in attractiveness , too !) We would not hesitate to highly recommend Peak Electronic as the "go to" circuit board design company.
