Peak Design really does have incredible bags. But the process of returning my bag has been completely awful. Their customer service / returns department is incredibly slow to respond and resolve issues. I was initially never sent a label for my return and had to wait weeks to hear back about it. And since returning my bag, I've been completely ghosted by Peak Design. The return was received one month ago (according to my track-and-trace code) and still haven't heard anything yet and no money back.

If you want to buy from them, I highly recommend buying from another service with better customer service. Or perhaps from a physical store where you can make returns in person. It has now been over 2 months since I've started this return and I've yet to heard back. What an absolute nightmare.

They replaced my slightly broken 6yo mk1 bag with a brand new mk2.

I’m extremely disappointed with Peak Design’s customer service. My new Pro-Light Tripod arrived with a clear defect on one of the carbon-fibre legs. I emailed support immediately with photos, then sent two follow-up emails when I received no reply.

Days later, I still have no acknowledgement at all - no confirmation, no update, nothing.

For a product at this price point, the service should match the quality of the item. Instead, the complete lack of response has been genuinely shocking. The hardware might be excellent, but customer service this unresponsive seriously undermines the brand.

Very disappointed and expected much better.

From day one of my first order nearly ten years ago, they have proven that they believe in the work they're doing and that they care about their customers. I contacted Peak Design at first hoping the 20L everyday backpack that had served me for over a decade and been on so many epic trips could be repaired, but the way the zipper had split it wasn't possible to replace. Instead they shipped me a brand-new bag. Customer service was outstanding from my first contact to the day I received my new bag. It's hard to find companies that stand behind their products so thoroughly. Thank you!

The lifetime guarantee is something that sounds nice but feels like most companies wriggle out of. Peak Design was happy to help and we couldn't be happier with the whole process. We were so impressed with how fast and helpful they were.

What an incredibly well designed and superbly value engineered Tripod ( takes me back to the Golden years of Value Engineering in the 80s where every gram and cc of a product has to align its existence with the function the product has to deliver). There is no unwanted element or mass. Thrown in the best of precision CNC machining and the best of material science for the best strength to weight ration with carbon fibre and the experience and expertise of none other than Jimmy Chin and you have an insane Pro Tripd that is a mere 1.9Kg in weight but can handle a 20Kg camera+ lense weight with a smile. Love the clamps, pan, foolproof camera lock in with a beautiful click and the poka-yoke of the slider lock to avoid an accidental drop of a precious camera. Love how my existing arca plates can be used. Had some very upset moments with messed up documentation and logistics but absolutely loved the product I received and am willing to put behind the shipment process frustration.

Great job Peak Design. Incredible how you assembled multiple techs, materials and thoughts to produce an incredible travel tripod that is as good as any professional tripod twice its weight and volume. Thank you

I just had a warranty claim for my 8 year old everyday backpack. The top zipper ha

d malfunctioned and was broken. After registering my backpack (I hadn't done that yet), Rachel from PD took me through the process and explained what to do by email. They agreed to my claim and sent me a completely new replacement - incredible service 👏👏👏

I have own many Peak Design products because they look great and are well made with fantastic materials. I have never thought much about its life time warranty until the zipper of my 5L sling broke. The claim process was efficient with great email support. A replacement was shipped to me in no time.

Best products for your everyday use and quality 100% always and you dont have to worry about the ware and tear!

Unmached warranty - replaced my everyday backpack v1 with a new v2 version in my colour choice ~5 years after I bought it because it had discoloured a bit - even though it was functioning perfectly. I actually only reached out initially to replace the zip pulls but ended up with a brand new bag
