Have bought a lot of items from the store in Jervis over the years. My new laptop which was still under warranty froze and i couldn't login so i brought it back to be fixed and staff gave me a reference and sent it off to the UK for servicing.
2 Weeks later i get back the laptop still broken and a report telling me it was water damaged and they couldn't help me any further which i knew was completely untrue.
Took it to a another PC shop who did a full inspection and signed a report to advise 100% NO water damage to my Laptop. Was simply windows stuck in a boot loop and they reinstalled windows for me. problem solved.
This was probably completely obvious to PC world who didn't give a damn and were too lazy to even bother trying to help me so they fobbed me off in the worst way possible and in the process tried to put them blame on me.
I'm outraged by the blatant lying to me thinking i would not know any better. I will never ever buy another laptop in PC World.
Indeed i have purchased another laptop since at Argos which had a hard ware issue and was replaced immediately.
The original "water damaged" laptop is still in fine working order so thanks a lot PC World.

Recently had experience of dealing with Currys ebay shop what a joke bought a range cooker for £810 returned the same as paintwork was faulty with blisters on the face of the cooker (Leisure cookmaster silver ) after weeks of getting nowhere with Currys finally had to go through PayPal resolutions and have just received £660 back from Currys therefore out of pocket £150 plus £50 for an independent engineers report to confirm that it was faulty !!! even after Leisure carried outtheir own assessment and agreed it was a manufacturing fault and should not have left the factory
Will never use Currys or Currys ebay again you have been warned hopefully it will save you the stress we have had!!
Out of pocket by £200.00 to add a final insult!!
