My BIL recommended me to this company, so when I needed to update my CV I got in touch. I worked with Claire, she carried out a thorough consultation, I think I found out more about myself in the two ish hours we chatted than I had ever really thought about in 20-years of working. I was very pleased with my CV, and within a month I had some interviews lined up, 100% better response than when I used my own version. I am happy to say I have been in my role for a few months now, time to think about an update!

I spoke to Claire around September time last year asking for some help writing my personal statement to apply to medical school. After sending my drafted statement over, I had a response the next day with my new and updated version. It included everything I wanted it to, in perfect detail and length. I am so grateful for Claire’s help and have just been offered a place at my first choice medical school to start in September this year!

I spoke to Claire in the mid March and agreed to go ahead with the CV writing package priced at £399. Whilst my appointment was in a few weeks time I was asked to pay in advance which I did. In the week following my circumstance changed so I contacted Claire to explain and requested a refund, which she agreed.
I’m now 3 weeks on and I still haven’t received my money back. I’ve been advised that the business only makes two pay runs per month (wish my business could get away with two pay runs per month to creditors). As of the 10th April, I was advised by Claire that the refund had been processed and would be in my bank account in 2-7 working days, Today, I’m still without my refund and have now been told it was processed yesterday and will be with me in another 2-7 days. I’m not holding my breath. I would tread with caution with this business, happy to accept money in advance but not so willing to give it back!

Superb company to work with. Claire was very detailed and thorough in obtaining all relevant information required to put together my CV and then produced a brilliant and professional document which presented a detailed and very accurate summary of my career, achievements & strengths which I feel will be a very positive asset in my search for employment. I had a great experience with PCVW. I first contacted the company for help with a CV in 2022. A writer named Nigel was assigned to my case. He first emailed me to touch base then we had a call. He asked lots of questions to understand what I needed and explained the process. Then he got to analysing job vacancies and writing my CV. He was very communicative and taught me about analysing job descriptions and writing a CV so that I could make my own changes in future (though he is on hand to help with this if required). He leaves comments on docs so you can see what he has done and why - I found this very helpful. My CV was written in good time and was designed to a high standard - it looked fab! Consequently, I was successful in securing interviews. I turned to the organisation again this year for help with writing a cover letter. Again, Nigel helped and I continued to secure interviews.

FYI, I worked with two other CV writers with good reviews, but I was not at all pleased with the service or what they produced. PCVW has been the best by far - both the service and the documents they produce are excellent!

I contacted Claire who listened to my experience and assigned Louise to complete my CV.
Louise was fantastic in translating my public sector experience into private sector skills and language.
The CV was presented well and eye catching yet designed to not be thrown out by the ATS systems.
It took me some to adapt to tailoring the CV to the specific jobs, but Louise arranged another meeting to further explain and help me, soon after I started getting the interviews and then secured my new career in a completely different field.
I will always recommend professional CV Writing and Louise.
Yes it cost money, but it's a investment and as I say if you needed your boiler fixed at home you wouldn't think twice about getting a plumber in. The use of a professional CV writer is no different.
