They claim they are income verification

They claim they are income verification
They are not.
They are bank account activity verification.

I make 100% more than is required for the rental I applied to, but Payscore was "Unable" to verify my income... No place to submit supporting documentation, no regard for the fact that I do - in fact - make enough, nothing but an automatic denial.

I contacted the rental company directly and they said that income must be verifiable through payscore, so I went back to payscore and it turns out they don't have the ability to verify income unless their automated system does it (from what I have been told at least).

I suppose I shouldn't be as surprised by this as I am, but they seem to just not care about the truth and are completely reliant on "the system [they] use to verify income." It's strange, it's dystopian, and it's *really* disappointing.

Payscore reported the wrong income

I was looking to move out of my current apartment. The new apartment ask that I use Payscore to verify my income, however payscore reported the incorrect monthly income. I contacted payscore and they switched data provider and ask me to pull the information again. This time the report came back with different information( ridiculous), however it was still missing some information. It didn't show my consistent income and I was denied for the apartment and when I contacted them they said there was nothing they could do about and to contact the property manager. So Payscore was telling me to contact the property manager and the property manager was telling me to contact payscore.

Payscore Is A Scam Company?

Payscore Is A Scam Company?

Applying for a rental they forced me to use payscore to identify my income by linking my bank account... except what they pulled from my bank account wasn't accurate... I tried contacting their support (they ONLY do chat support) was rude and unhelpful and had me do things like refresh my connection.

They give you a spot to add a note... but I have no idea if anyone will actually read that or not.

Terrible experience with a terrible service.

UPDATE: Using this garbage product got my bank account frozen! Payscore is a SCAM!!!

Is it s scam? That's for you to decide.
