This company is a scam

This company is a scam, Agencies use them for payroll. Deducted £2900 in tax and insurance from my wage over a 10 week period and not paid the tax. Stay well clear.

Had to put 1 as zero not available

Had to put 1 as zero not available. I'm guessing the 5 star review is from a member of their staff or their partner as this company is completely Sxxx. No payslip until Friday so you can not query it and no payments until after 4pm Friday bearing in mind direct debits fail after 3pm so be aware of this. I recently dumped these crooks. DO NOT USE

Cannot supply GLOBAL payment

Paylink mobile is run by Global Payments as I understand. Global Payments cannot supply GLOBAL payment methods for UK companies. So much time wasted on this company. Terrible communication. I was mis sold this. Still waiting for my refund.
I did get £20 set up fee refund. I requested to close the account on 7 Sept 2023 and it was finally closed and I got a refund on 9th November 2023.

Stole my holiday pay !!

Stole my holiday pay !!!
Telling me I'd already been paid it inclusive of my wages.
Zero evidence on payslips
Zero evidence on my contract that this was the deal.
Told the money was there in the holiday pot/fund and should have been paid when I left working for first task recruitment along with redark. Now the money is gone as I've been paid it apparently. DIRTY THIEVES, ALL OF THEM AND THEIR WORK PARTNERS!!!. Do not trust , would not recommend and certainly won't be doing any work for any of them again.

Paylinks is a huge tax fiddle

Paylinks is a huge tax fiddle . How long have you been with them ? We have drivers who have been with them over a year yet every 8-12 weeks you are set on by a different Limited Company threw pay links so they can avoid paying the correct taxes . Agencies all across the UK are using these to get round the IR35 rules by telling them they have to use Paylinks - All Paylinks have done is set up hundreds of limited companies under one roof and every 8-12 weeks they shift 'You' (the employee) onto another Limited Company to make it look like you have left that job - when infact you are most probably working at the same place ! Look at your wage slip at the top, it will have the 'LTD company' you work for and a telephone number for inquires ? Notice every time the LTD company changes and the Telephone number - but it's the same office when you ring it? Some of the biggest companies in the England are using these and it's a disgrace and i just hope the IR35 reform allow LTD company drivers to get back working for them selves rather than 'Look like they are employed by these crooks' Just to clarify how to contact these people . When you get your wage slip sent to your phone, the Limited Company contact number at the top of your slip is 'Paylinks' but they are not going to tell you that . They may very well make you change employment ten times a year but every single company you work threw for them will all lead back to that same office !

Is it possible to be paid before the end of the day?

Why the agency uses this company I have no idea. If you're lucky you'll get paid before the banks close. They send texts and emails stating that you have been paid when in fact you haven't!!! They enrolled me into their pension with a link to opt out. Guess what the link doesn't even work so now I'm unwillingly in their stupid work pension scheme.

Shambles company!!!!!

Paylinks is completely unprofessional

Paylinks is completely unprofessional. They want me to provide my right to work every 3 months, like my permanent right to work could expire. They pay tax like they want.I had to get tax return even when I worked for them only, they overpaid my tax by 500 quid. Speaking to them makes the same effect like speaking to the wall. Ridiculous. Rightpay much better.

Absolutely disgusting

Paylinks Well where do I start it should be called No paylinks or Pay eventually links.
After speaking to what can only be described as a multitude of nationality agents and giving them vital information that they fail to update. I spend what seems like hours on hold and once again giving out my information to confirm is correct.
Finally 5 days yes 5 days after payment was received by paylinks I will be payed today but I was told that yesterday and the last 5 days previous.
It's ok tho at least my family have food and heat!!! Oh actually they don't as I'm waiting for my money to feed them and heat the house.
Paylinks you should hang your head in shame

I started working for an employment…

I started working for an employment agency back in September 2021, for the first 3 weeks everything was fine, then on the 4th week the company decided in their wisdom to change my tax code from a week one basis to basic rate, meaning that I paid 25% of my wages on tax. I rang the tax office who issued a tax code straight away, the company did change my tax code back to a week one basis but refused to refund me my tax. I went back and forth from the tax office and paylinks but they refused to do what the tax office requested from them. They gave me a load of excuses and blamed the tax office for not giving them the right information, which was clearly a lie, as I got the same notifications from them that they sent to paylinks. In the end I gave up ringing paylinks because they really haven't a clue how to actually do payroll at all. All I can do now is wait until the end of the tax year (5th April 2022) to make a claim to the tax office and hopefully get a tax refund, but I'm not holding my breath on that one!
The thing that really annoys me is a lot of people don't understand how tax and national insurance works, why would they unless they have studied the subject, so for the average employee they would assume everything is fine and not question what they've been taxed, so my advice would be to ring the tax office and ask them if your tax code and the tax that you've paid is correct.

Spot-on!

I recently worked for a company which uses paylinks.co.uk for its payroll management.
I am amazed at how efficient their system is, timely, easy-to-read (and understand) payslips with contact info in case of query (never needed by me).
If only other companies could provide such excellent service!
