So I purchased the noise canceling headphones because my five-year-old Shih Tzu is high anxiety during thunderstorms and also went traveling in car. I thought the noise canceling headphones would help from the loud storms we get in Florida and also from the noise in the car from the roads. We had the opportunity to try it several times in the last few weeks, we took an eight hour trip in the car and the headphones did not help any of her anxiety. During that time, we also experienced some severe thunderstorms here in Florida and again using the headphones did not help with her anxiety. I did have a difficult time keeping them on her head because they kept slipping off. My Shih Tzu didn’t mind having them on since I slowly got her used to them, and I finally was able to find a way to tighten the chords enough so that the headphones didn’t slip.
Even though I haven’t had the headphones but a few weeks, I do know that they are not helping relieve her anxiety. I will be looking to return them.

I sent photos of the incorrect fit on my dog and requested a refund in a separate email and received no response for weeks. Their phone number online for customer service is a disconnected line.

I bought my dog a pair of headphones in size L after asking by email (after measuring, we were in the M and L range) and was immediately told that if they didn't fit, we could exchange the size free of charge. Shipping to Germany was quick and easy. After a few days of testing, we had to come back to them as the headphones slipped off my dog's head very easily. With new exact measurements, we were sent a pair of headphones in M customized which now fit well. Only when he shakes himself do the headphones sometimes slip (but it's not so easy to pull them tight with all my dog's fur as he´s a very fluffy boy). Thanks to PAWNIX, my dog slept through New Year's Eve completely, so we are more than satisfied.

Thanks for making the New Year a little better. I can't say my dog loves the headphones. She takes them off if I'm not giving her snacks or have my hands on telling her to leave them on. But as we sat in the closet for new years with the fireworks going on, I was able to keep them on her and gave her some anxiety meds and she feel asleep with them on. Great to help her and glad I didn't have to music while I'm trying to sleep.

The product was good but for my dog, noise, such as a loud bang or thud, makes him very anxious so unless she wears it all the time, it doesn’t work for her. She is too agitated to be able to wear them or get them on her.

We won’t know for certain until New Year’s Eve, but my dog doesn’t seem to mind wearing the headset … so far, so good!!

The Pawnix Team made a new headset for my little Pom when the first one was too small-no hassle, no charge. AND, when the electronics had an issue, they immediately sent a new electronics set! Again, no hassle, no charge! I still need to talk with them to help me figure out a couple of things, but I have no doubt they will be right there to help!!

These noise cancelling headphones really helped my greyhound. She is terrified of thunder and storms, and these helped her to calm down with loud noise, and stop shaking like a leaf.

Our dog’s first thunder storm with Pawnix headgear wasn’t a terrible one, but without using Bluetooth or any meds, she stayed calm. I’d have to say it works as advertised. Thank you!

Great customer service. The standard size did not fit my dogs head so Pawnix took my measurements and made a custom size at no additional cost to me. They are sometimes slow to respond to questions but be patient they will get back to you.

IT WAS GREAT BUT THE MEASUREMENTS SENT GOT ME A SMALLER HEAD SET AND MY ORIGINAL WAS TOO SMALL?

Our seven year old dog always had a rough time with fireworks and thunderstorms. Our neighbors set off fireworks pretty much year round with the peak coming around the Fourth of July. This year we finally decided to look into some headphones and after some searching and debating bit the bullet and chose the Pawnix. Game changer! We got to test them out on the fourth and my dog was asleep within minutes of having them on! It sounded like a battleground outside and she was blissfully unaware. She loves them and we love the peace it gives her!!

Be sure to read the instructions to get your dog used to the headphones. Ours didn’t need much training but when they’re already in a heightened state want to give them something familiar not introducing something new. I use the default white noise settings on my iPad (so I can silence the notifications) and use just the white noise and she seems to love it. You have to turn the hearing accessibility on first to access the various sounds.

These headphones have been a game changer! I've used them for thunderstorms and fireworks, and my dog is asleep within minutes of putting them on. He's a tolerant dog, so it didn't take much acclimating before putting them into use. Best money I've spent in a long time!

Unfortunately my baby wouldn’t wear pawnix noise reduction helmet but I was impressed with the quality of your helmet. My return experience was great fast and easy.

I have a very noise sensitive vizsla. Approaching this July 4, I was at my wits end to find something to soothe her. I was skeptical about Pawnix, but I wear noise canceling earphones. After following their training tips, my girl wears the Pawnix through the night. The fireworks did not bother her at all this year. I stream meditation music. She happily wears them anytime there are loud noises outside. I should mention that I live in a heavy fireworks, and blue angel area of San Francisco, California. Absolutely great product. Highly recommend getting it for your dog if they have problems with noise. Thank you
