They were professional, helpful, knowledgeable and FREE. They listened to my issue following a motoring offence and gave me clear advice. Two other firms of solicitors never even got back to me even though I was prepared to pay.

This had been the most selfless, empathetic, and thought-saving legal service I’ve ever had. I was lucky to get to Rachel, who who had the patience and empathy with my situation. She gave me free advice and how I’m going to handle the matter. I didn’t pay a dime. Once again, thank you.

I contacted Patterson Law after receiving a couple of tickets in the same week. They called me back and followed up to make sure I had the info I needed.
Although I didn't need them in the end their advice was concise and useful. Should I need a solicitor in the future, I will definitely give them a call.

I don’t write reviews lightly, but what I went through with Patterson Law deserves to be shared. I spent a total of £2,820, and despite everything, I was still banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay 50% of the legal fees of the prosecution's barrister. All of this happened while I was left feeling voiceless and betrayed.
The person solicitor in charge of my case, Jessica Dolan, received all the information she needed. I gave her everything, details about the incident, my family, my job, and personal background. But in the end, a third-party barrister who knew little about me or my case was sent to represent me. He had three cases to attend to that day, and mine clearly wasn’t given the attention it deserved.
The police officer's story was full of inconsistencies. He first claimed I was driving at 85 mph, then apologised and corrected himself to 75 mph, only to revert again to 85 mph later. In his body-worn camera footage, he clearly stated that his car’s dash cam recorded everything, but when pressed to provide that footage, it turned out to be a complete lie. There was no dash cam recording, yet that critical detail was never properly challenged in court.
When I first appeared at the magistrates' court, I pleaded not guilty, on the condition that the police produce the video evidence they claimed to have. But when I got to the appeal, the narrative had conveniently changed. There was no video, no proof and yet I was still convicted.
Incredibly, even my car’s number plate was recorded wrongly in the officer’s statement although the correct plate appeared in his body-worn footage. I tried to signal this error in court, looking to my barrister to intervene.
One of the most humiliating and painful moments came when the judge questioned the barrister about my personal circumstances — my family, my children, the hardship I’d face with a driving ban. The barrister said there was no proof. I was seated right there. Why didn’t anyone ask me? I had the birth certificates with me. The judge assumed I was making up stories.
I have nothing but regret for ever contacting Patterson Law. Why didn’t I go to a local, physical solicitor I could meet and speak with face-to-face? Why did I trust an online firm that handed me over to someone who didn’t know me, didn’t care, and wasn’t prepared?
I was convicted for an offence I didn’t commit, with no video evidence, inconsistent police testimony, and a legal defence that barely scratched the surface of my case.
I would never recommend Patterson Law to anyone. Not for minor cases, and certainly not for anything serious. No matter how many positive reviews they have, my experience was terrible, and the emotional and financial toll it’s taken on me is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
I still don’t know how to explain this pain.

I was in quite a state when I received a letter from the police regarding an incident with another car and wasn't sure what to do. Having seen the excellent reviews for Patterson's I set up a call and Dominic talked me through the situation and I could feel my anxiety levels start to drop. Dominic then agreed to check my statement and now I have heard back from the police with the offer of doing a course and no points on my licence. So, my thanks to Dominic and Stephanie, who calmly walked me through options. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paterson's.

Patterson, Karen and Rima have offered their advice free of charge, and been so helpful.
Rima from Patterson Law has been an angel for me, helping me chase a case that went positive. She did it without any other interest to help and I appreciate it so much! It meant the world when I needed this.
Thank you Rima and Patterson Law!

In April I contacted Patterson Law regarding the ongoing Single Justice procedure as prior I had experienced an injustice. I spoke to Dominic at Patterson Law who advised me on my Court appearance on 28th April 2025 and whom reduced the original fine to half the amount. However, despite this positive result I was still having problems obtaining written confirmation and/or correct instruction to make payment etc of the reduced amount. As a result I again contacted Dominic whom again provided free advice and I have since managed to pin down those responsible in the court system to make the necessary amendments and arrangements which I have since made full payment of the reduced fine amount putting the injustice experience behind me.
Thanks again Dominic for your valued help and assistance.

Having received a single justice procedure, I was filled with anxiety, stress and confusion as the evidence in the documentation did not marry with my alleged offence. I contacted Patterson Law for some free advice before making an uninformed decision that I didn't feel comfortable with. I was called back by Karen Parsons who once had all the information she needed went through every possible scenario with me from a legislative point of view which not only reduced my anxieties but enabled me to make a more informed decision. This was fast approaching my deadline and the end of the working day for Karen but assured me she will not leave the call until not only I was happy but she was also, which again put me further at ease. Id like to thank Karen and will update on the outcome in (part 2)

This isn't a gripe because of the advice given but a complaint on HOW it was given. I'm 65 years of age and I felt like a 2 year old after speaking to these people! I would not reccomend this firm to anybody!

It was a shock to my system to discover that I had been speeding when I thought I was obeying the speed limit.
I found highly rated reviews of Patterson's online.
Karen Parsons telephoned me, and was absolutely brilliant. She clearly set out the facts of the justice system, professionally explained the options open to me and the assistance the Firm can provide in each case.
Her approach was very structured, and she was able to set out the range of punishments (none of them good!) that are possible.
I was most impressed by this introductory conversation, and I looking forward to receiving Patterson's further support through this difficult time.
