Absolutely hopeless company

Absolutely hopeless company. No notification that my delivery wasn't sent. No heads up so I could get dinner sorted for my family. Will never use again and suggest others avoid too.

Fun pasta making experience!

A really fun, informative and hands on morning with Chef Rosi. We had a really great time and would really recommend the pasta making class. It’s a fantastic present and I felt like you got lots for your money. We are already thinking about what other classes we could book!

Had the best time at the beginners pasta making class

Had the best time at the beginners pasta-making class with Chef Rosie. She made everything so fun and easy to follow, and the vibe was super relaxed from the start. We got properly hands-on and ended up with pasta that tasted incredible. Such a brilliant evening — thanks Rosie! 🍝

Order over two hours late

Order over two hours ago. No updates. Called customer service. Could not guarantee time of delivery. At least they had the decency to refund my money and say that if the order did arrive it was for free (I’m not holding my breath).

Do not order a delivery from them as…

Do not order a delivery from them as they are thick as pig shit. Over and hour since my order was placed, app said 40 minutes. When I contacted the restaurant as the order was still in progress, the dim shit on the phone just kept repeating that the order was made via just eat, which I knew as I placed the order.. I just needed them to complete the order on their end so I could contact just eat about my refund for a missing order, however she just kept repeating the same thing and that the order was collected 40 minutes before my phone call. Awful service do not use

Pasta Making Birthday Treat!

My husband booked up a surprise pasta making class in Greenwich London for my birthday treat. We were given a tasty starter of burrata, cherry tomatoes and focaccia, washed down with chilled Prosecco before starting our class. Chef Angelica was really entertaining and informative. It was such good fun making the pasta, but harder than I thought! Chef Angelica was on hand to help and give advice. Afterwards we got to eat the pasta we had made with a choice of sauces made by the chefs at Pasta Evangelists. The staff were very attentive and refilled our glasses throughout the evening. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you enjoy pasta and all things Italian!

Disappointing

Ordered from Manchester airport terminal 2. Hugely disappointed as the carbonara of dreams with pancetta was really dry with barely any sauce. The pasta was all stuck together so the lot came out when trying to just get a fork full. Huge waste of money as most of it went in the bin!

Unfortunately overpriced.

Unfortunately we found the Beginners Pasta making class was overpriced for the experience you got and the pasta that we made. We only made one very basic tagliatelle and that was without sauce, so it should definitely have been atleast 2 or 3 different varities and perhaps a basic sauce/filling for the price. Additionally they perhaps could have provided more food throughout the session. Rosi the chef was fantastic, her spirit and personality kept us happy and entertained but the Academy needs to deliver more value for money and I would like to come back again when this change is made. There are other pasta classes out there that offer more for the same or even less money.

Pasta making class was absolutely…

Pasta making class was absolutely overpriced for the experience you get. Should provide more food throughout the session, at least that's what you would expect for 70 quid a person! Instead there was a tiny antipasto (only one and not as advertised antipasti, which is plural in Italian) and that's it. On the other hand Marcus the chef was fantastic.

Didn't delivery on the correct day

Didn't delivery on the correct day. I cancelled my subscription before I had received any food and made other arrangements. They then delivered despite saying the delivery would not arrive. Macaroni cheese was vile. Very strong flavour. Won't be ordering any more from them.

Fun & easy pasta making class

I was offered as a gift a voucher for a pasta making class and I went for the Taste of Umbria where we handmade Strangozzi pasta. It was a great experience, good for beginners, to the point, we got to eat it with truffle butter and it was yummy. This was accompanied by an antipasti and bottomless Prosecco! The chef was fun and it was a nice, chilled environment in the basement of the Richmond restaurant. Thank you for the experience!

Sell you bigger portions than asked for and charge you more

I have been buying their pasta since they first set up, by mail order, and I have always liked the pasta. I stopped ordering as the vegetarian options were limited and it was always the same choices, no changes. I walked past the Richmond branch and purchased some pasta and sauce for two people, at least that's what I asked. I found the containers excessive and very bulky, with plastic lids. I have bought fresh pasta in France and I had a very good carboard box which could be recycled, for the pasta. When I opened the boxes at home and started preparing for cooking, I found that ONE portion was enough for TWO people! Therefore, I have been sold enough for four people, there was even some left over once cooked. I really don't appreciate being deceived by the staff into buying morobe than I asked for as I trusted their knowledge. I won't be going back and certainly won't buy their pasta again. I paid £23 for pasta for two and sauce, when it should have been half of this! Very expensive for nice pasta but nothing special. The pasta and sauce I bought in France were simply amazing. Don't go, they've obivously been told to charge as much as possible and to deceive the customer into buying more than nessary.

Pasta making & bottomless Prosecco at Farringdon

I attended the pasta making with bottomless Prosecco with my fiancé last week as a belated Christmas present. We were shown to our table where our antipasti was plated up ready to eat. Glasses were filled with Prosecco pretty much straight away. Our ingredients were laid out on the table as well as equipment and we were shown by the chef how to make the pasta step by step. Once made it was handed over to the chef to cook and add the sauce then we were called up when it was ready and was able to add toppings such as chilli flakes, oregano, and Parmesan. Our session was Taste of the northern alps and we got to make ricotta ravioli. Honestly some of the best tasting pasta I’ve ever had! Even better that it was made by ourselves and so easy to replicate at home.
Highly recommend!

I bought the chicken Alfredo and it was…

I bought the chicken Alfredo and it was possibly the worst bowl of pasta I have ever tried. I spent £18 on this and it was horrid. The pasta was rock solid. The chicken was mushy and just awful. Would not recommend this place at all.
