Most likely a scam

I'm not even convinced this company actually sells/ships anything. I've been given the run around on a tonneau cover I ordered nearly 16 weeks ago now. And when I asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund issued, it was total radio silence. Seems like a scam through and through.

WARNING!!!

WARNING!!! IN MORE THEN LAST 10 YEARS I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THAT SHOPPING ONLINE LIKE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
Their website is misleading customers, they stated that they have item in stock and will be shipped within 2-5 business. After 6 business days I have to follow them and after a phone call to them I was informed that they don't have this item in stuck and they will follow with me on this ( yeah right ) Waited another 2 business days and no phone call from them. Emailed them I wanted to cancel the order to get my $1030 refund. After 10 business days still no refund and no reply to my email.
I lost already $150 dollars because this Thule item was on sale and it's not anymore and I could have it from Amazon in 3 days.
SHAME ON YOU I HAVE TO FOLLOW YOU TO GET MY MONEY BACK FOR SOMETHING I NEVER RECEIVED.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I tried to cancel an order. I didn't receive a response until the following day that it had already shipped. They had 24 hrs to cancel the order. They said it had already shipped, but it hadn't. It like they forget there is a paper trail when shipping. They said I could send it back for a refund, but it is a heavy steel truck part. The shipping is going to cost me a fortune

Worst company to get in touch with for…

Worst company to get in touch with for order follow up. I bought a Torklift A8000 on may 17th, I was told by the saleperson it would be shipped by the end of day on the 17th. Tried contacting them since to have an update, I have left message on chat system, I requested a call back on their support line (as the line was always busy) and at this time, may23rd, still have not heard from them.

If i could select 0 stars, I would.
Ordered a tire. 12 days later, I still don’t receive it. So I cancelled the order. 14 days after the cancellation, the refund is not done. This company is trash. All they’re good at is giving excuses and apologies.

ZERO STARS 100%

ZERO STARS 100%. Made a purchase March 22, 2023 which was free delivery. Notice my credit card wasn't pending anymore after 2 days only, the charge had been posted in just 2 days, wow!! so thought I would call to see why I did not receive a tracking number. Didn't get an answer and was told an Admin would call me back. No sooner did I hang up an email was sent saying I owe a further 66.00 for shipping. I called back and tried to cancel the order and ask why my credit card had already had the charge posted, no answer to the question. I canceled the order only to receive 2 more emails asking if I want to pay the extortion or cancel. SCAM BAITING for sure. Never again. Now I have to wait for them or 15 days to dispute charges. I filed a misuse of credit card complaint with VISA. Stay away from these scammers.

Fraud! Beware!!!

This company is outright dishonest! When they don't have the stock they come up with an excuse on why they cancel your order then you have to wait weeks for a refund. Customer service is no help and terrible to deal with.

Do NOT deal with this company!!

I ordered running boards Jan. 28/23 that should have been shipped within 3 to 5 business days. When I tracked the package it showed the invoice as picked up by Fedex Jan. 31/23. As of today Feb.21/23 it still shows the same.
After speaking with 4 customer service reps I was first told that my product was discontinued and they offered a free upgrade that was in stock.
From here we went to: warehouse problems, missing parts, upgrade with additional cost.
Today I told them to cancel my order and refund my money. this company is despicable and should be banned from doing business in Canada !!!

This site is a joke...my first order…

This site is a joke...my first order was supposed to arrive in 2 weeks, 2 months later I was asking for a refund after they came up with the "item damaged during shipping" excuse and wanted to me to pay extra shipping to have it shipped express this time.
Month later, I wanted to give them another try and ordered another item, only to be told the day after that there was a pricing error and that my order was cancelled.
Both times they take your money and make you wait for refund, these guys are bordering on fraud!,,,stay away

Buyer Beware!

They do not actually have stock for items marked in stock on their website- but will take your money and when you realize you are not getting anything and contact their "customer service", they will keep your money for another 2 weeks before processing your refund.

Terrible company to deal with

I ordered a ladder rack for my truck. Paying $450 including taxes. It was a "smittybuilt" unit. Only half the product showed up with no usable way to make it function. When I complained, they said I only ordered "box 2" as per their page and that is what they sent me. There is no explanation on their site stating it requires “box 1” to complete the unit. It is a picture of the complete unit installed on a truck. Another line that says “further options regarding this product”. But with no suggestion of requiring a second order to get the rest of the product. They seem content that a new customer ordering this product would pick up on needing two separate orders.
There is a 1800 number in the box that you call when there is missing parts. The people at that number are very antagonizing, seemly all prepped and familiar with dealing with any dissatisfied customers. They know right away once I tell them, it’s the ladder rack. They tell me that they not responsible and the issue is with the retailer. And that I should be more careful buying online.
After further research I found this is how Smittybuilt sells this product, box 1 and 2 but I have not, as yet, found it together as a complete product with one price. Retailers seem to follow suit, failing to tell customers, on their sites, how to get a complete unit. Kudos to Amazon who picked up on this and is the only retailer, that I found so far, that states that you need to order it, in 2 separate parts. This brings the price up to over $900.
Also Parts engine is rated an F on the BBB. With many complaints against them. I wish I had checked reviews before buying anything from them. I have looked into any affiliated companies, of which there seems to be several, and fear they may also engage in such practices. I will not deal with them either. Much regards to other customers having to deal with this type of retailer.

Refund not prompt

Ordered parts through website, order didn't qualify for free shipping, paid shipping charge. A week later get an email stating the shipping is double what was quoted and I have the option to cancel and get a refund. Cancel and refund chosen. 2 weeks later, still no refund and no response to my emails. Refund should not be this difficult when an order is cancelled.

Steer clear of the thieves

Steer clear of the thieves, plain and simple. Ordered parts, recieved half my order and long story short I will have to open a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back as they have no interest in customer service once they have your money. Of note, isn't it odd how their website list so many positive reviews but every other review website is almost entirely negative

Rip-off Artists

Same story as everyone else. Tires ordered, money taken, no stock and no refund. I reported them to the credit card company and their fraud department. I would suggest you do the same or better still, BOYCOTT this company and get the word out THEY'RE THEIVES!

Do not bother ordering from these clowns!

I ordered a set of tires that were on sale from their website, which did not indicate if they were in stock. Only that they were available while supplies last. So I place the order and they charged my credit card. Three days later they send an email that the tires are not in stock and are discontinued! Why would you promote a sale for items you don't stock and are discontinued?? So, I said fine refund my card. It has been a week since I asked for the refund. I email these clowns and ask when they are issuing the refund, no reply from them. Tried calling their phone number put on hold, and then hangs up? So buyer beware!

They DO NOT have free shipping or the…

They DO NOT have free shipping or the in stock parts you order. I got an email after I ordered and paid saying that my address was too far so it would be $14 per tire so I gave them an in the city address as they suggested. I called 6 days later and waited to talk to someone for 2 hours. Just to hear you have to wait longer. Later that night I get an email saying its now $31 per tire to either address and they are now backordered with no date that they will get there. They blamed a lost shipment, my address and fedex. I called to cancel the order, waited hours again and got an email that the order was canceled and that I have to wait for the warehouse to confirm before I get my refund. Thank god I used PayPal so I will get a resolution but my $1000 might be tied up for a while.
