Customer service is just terrible.

Customer service is just terrible.
Here is my experience:
Item showed 10+ available online.
Order placed, card charged.
Then I got emails about a back order, ok I’ll wait.
Website still shows 10+ in stock.
I decided to cancel.
I emailed 3 times to confirm cancellation.
The item arrived.
I emailed again to cancel and return, no reply.
I don’t know what to do now.

Awful Customer Service

Promised delivery date not met. Impossible to get Order Update by phone or email. Can not get in touch with person/representatine over the phone. Stay away from this company. Save yourself from frustrations. I ordered over $2000.00 worth of products and I'm starting to get worried. My credit card has been charged but nothing is happening with my order [ still in progress after 12 Days ]. I am going to phone my credit card company and see if they could help me cancel the order and get a refund. I normally don't give reviews but I am compelled to do so to warn others.

Save yourself and don't bother

Went on to order tires and rims for my dually. I had a hard time getting the payment info processed for the rims. I ended up researching them and found MANY horrible reviews and ended up ordering the rims from another company. They called me that night and seemed helpful so I thought I would still purchase the tires from them. Big Mistake! The free shipping at checkout turned out to be $60 as I was "remote". Ok, so I wait 9 days still hasn't shipped so I email them to inquire when tires will ship. I get a prompt response telling me that I will need to pay another $159 shipping (approx. May be higher depending on carrier). WTF? What happened to free shipping? So they ask me if I want to cancel, so I do. They say they are refunding me the amount, less $69 dollars. I reply to the email asking "why are they withholding $69 dollars?" I haven't got a reply yet but I am expecting them to say that it is a restocking fee. A restocking fee for an order you couldn't fill under the initial terms? I will send all documentation to Visa and dispute that charge until all of my money is returned.

I am reporting their fraud to the BBB

I am reporting their fraud to the BBB. This company will take your money and send you nothing. At the same time they will avoid your calls with the promise of a call back that will disconnect when you answer. Like I said, this company is a scam.

Don’t order from them

Don’t order from them. I ordered parts to fix my vehicle, there was a delay that started with 3-5 days delay. That became a 6 week delay. Could not get through on the phone, when we finally did we were told they had to contact the warehouse. No word given. At the 6 week mark I cancelled because I could not get through to them. They ‘cancelled’ and stated there would be a 10 day wait for a refund, ONCE I received the confirmation email. That, stupid, confirm we cancelled took 11 days and now I’m waiting 10 days to gey my refind.

Let’s see, part of me feels like I won’t get it. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

Tires and wheels mounted

I ordered tires with rims mounted and balanced with sensors. Although the order took three weeks to arrive due to a delay caused by a mix-up with extra parts (which was resolved with a refund), the installation went smoothly, and everything works perfectly. I am pleased with the purchase and would order from the same supplier again.

Slow communication, bad inventory

Slow communication, bad inventory, bad resolution... Order had to be cancelled. I ordered a set of wheels over a month ago, then they contact me to tell me they can't get them, then offer me another type as a replacement, I say OK, then days later they say those aren't available and order cancelled.

pretty sure I have been stolen from

I am pretty sure I have been stolen from, and have now filed a complaint with BBB. They have yet to deliver the parts I purchased in advance 4 months ago, still waiting for the parts, and a response to my last two emails asking for their arrival dates/status. SHOP ELSEWHERE if you value honesty in customer service.

Ordered wheels and tires

Ordered wheels and tires - price was fare and inventory was 'in stock' as noted online. Almost 4 weeks and several emails as well as calls, I have not heard anything from their customer service teams. I suspect they are dealing with many issues with delivery. I did get one email noting that they were awaiting transfer from another warehouse - not sure where that might be as it's now almost 4 weeks and I have yet to get any updates. Most frustrating online experience ever, not to mention poor customer service.

Scam site, no product

Waiting four week on my order of an item shown "in stock"... I also was scammed by Partsengine. They don't reply to emails or phone calls. I will be reversing charges with my CC company.

Wish I read the reviews before ordering.

Wish I read the reviews before ordering. Placed an order 3+ weeks ago, and am still in the '1-2 days' before processing. I've waited hours on hold but never spoke to a human. Their email reply said "we'll ask the warehouse" about the status, and never had a follow up.

Edit for closure: I eventually received my order (wheels and tires) after sending a few more emails. In the end, I got my order 45 days after placing it, and the items were as expected.

Beware! Ordered special order part clearly…

Ordered special order part clearly advertises “expedited special order ships 10-15 business days” well it’s been four weeks now and they’re tellin me
The same run around everytime. It’s a cut and paste email with an added 2 weeks pending courier delays. That will be 6 weeks! 30 business days before
It’s even in there warehouse! Bunch of bs! Iv had product shipped from the UK faster then this. So don’t tell us “courier delays” This is a lie and is false advertising. Dont tell people one thing if you can’t deliver on it. Please proceed with caution. I will not be ordering from again

Impossible to Contact

This is the second time I've been trying to contact Partsengine (I should have know better after a similar experience a year ago) and after numerous attempts I still have not connected.
I filled in the email request for a "ticket", all boxes were filled in properly but it would not go through. There was a problem with Captcha (the "I am not a robot" box), so I tried numerous times yesterday and today, still experiencing the same problem.
Phoned numerous time only to be on hold for 20 minutes or so, eventually left a call back request but guess what, NO call back.
Partsengine your time is up. The parts I need are available from other suppliers so I will be dealing with them from now on, even if they're double the price.
I try to support Canadian but this kind of service is embarrassing.

Their website says there is still stock remaining and can be shipped immediately. Then I process payment and I get notification of 3.
To 5 business Days of delay. Create ticket and have had no response, Feel like scam company. Will contact credit card company and refund payment hopefully.

NOT free shipping within Canada!

I have ordered multiple sets of wheels and tires from PEC in the past without any problems however after I placed my most recent order they now indicated they want additional courier fees! The delivery company claims I live in a rural area and are charging PEC additional funds to deliver to my address. PEC is passing the additional charges on to me, the customer.
Their 'Free Canada Wide Shipping' is false advertising.
Buyer beware!!

Winter Alloy Rims

I ordered a set of alloy rims Sept 3. It was listed as instock. On Sept 5 I phoned them as my order was not processed and was told that he would bump me up the que and complete the processing. Sept 6 an email from Partsengine letting me know that an email will be sent to me once shipping date is determined. I responded and said need the rims soon otherwise I will ask for a refund and the same day I got email with the tracking number. Sept 9 the rims came and they all fit perfect. The reason why I contacted them so impatiently is I read comments on the different review sites and they were not very good. As it turns out you probably have to contact them sooner than later to find out the status as it appears that if you don't they will be delayed. Overall experience would be 5 stars but the lack of communication brings it. down to 4 stars.
