I couldn’t find a front bumper mounting bracket for my 08 Dakota. I had searched junk yards, and part stores.

I was ready to just buy a welder and build a custom bumper rather than paying thousands for an aftermarket one.

I was searching various sites on google and came across Partify. When I put in the make, model, engine, and year, I found one that seemed right, but I wasn’t a 100% sure if it was the correct part.

Carefully looking at the picture and description, it looked right so I figured just buy it and worst case if it’s not the right part, return it. But I didn’t want to do that.

So when the part came, I opened the box and the part looked beautiful. It felt a little light for a mounting bracket and didn’t have as thick of a weld as the original, but still decent for the price.

I could modify it by grinding of the weld and re-weld some thicker metal, but I happy with it.

I ordered a front bumper capa certified with color to match which it fit and matched perfectly to my Benz

I am satisfied with the purchase of the painted bumper. The color was matched well. There is one issue, but it is related to the packaging of the product. The corners of the bumper were not properly protected, and some paint is missing there. This is not significant, but it is worth paying attention to. I hope I will enjoy the good quality of the bumper paint and that it will not deteriorate over time.
