Never again

Never again, If I had only known I would of never used this car park at all.
On arrival the shuttle drivers were arguing and shouting.didnt really care if there was kids watching. As the driver took us to the airport in his car as there was no shuttle bus available, he was texting on his phone trough out.
On the way back, as we landed we called the people to let them know we have arrived. The guy said to me “wait, I will call you back in 2 min”. We waited outside the airport for 45 min and no body would answer the phone. When the shuttle bus arrived there was only 6/7 seats but around 10 passengers. We somehow managed to squeeze in.
When we got to the car park, a box of keys were given to us and we had to pick our car key, I could of easily picked up someone elses car and drove off. I found my car filthy and covered in mud.
Very unprofessional and absolutely disappointing.

Needs improvement

Not very professional, and a long way from the airport, charged 15£ extra for drop off, the shuttle! , has no ramps for disabled Access, the car parking is no more than a field at the end of a rough road covered in pot holes, on returning we were told to look out for a white car , the car was blue and driven by a man who didn't speak English, his driving was bordering on dangerous, very fast and breaking every speed limit, our cases were crammed into a small boot , which resulted in a broken handle on our case, our car was covered in a sticky dirt on collection. Would not use again

The Timber Yard

The Timber Yard , Stanstead Airport ...DO NOT USE!!

I have used Parko before with no issue. However this time I booked the Timber Yard and it was horrendous. On arrival I had to call as no shed/office so you dont know where to meet anyone and check in. A man got out a car and charged me £15 on top of the payment I made online...I was never told this would happen! He then drove me and my children to the airport in his own car while telling me hes helping out as the business is in chaos and the 7 seater they were using is broken. I was very concerned if anyone would collect us on our return as he told me the clients are all being left waiting and complaining. I was collected on my return in mini van by a man who didnt speak but drove like a maniac, I was scared as were my children...he needs to slow down and use an indicator. On arrival a man opened his boot and it was filled with keys and he asked me to find mine!!! So unsafe, so disorganised and I was ripped off with the additional £15 charge. I was told as the key situation is so chaotic they are no longer taking customers keys. Finally I went to my car and it was absolutely filthy as lorries are going back and forth constantly and the area is stone and dust. I am not being dramatic and can send photos as never seen anything like it . I want my £15 refunded and the cost of a valet paid as its a shambles or an organisation. Are they even insured ?? AVOID !!!

SMG Park and Ride absolutely disgusting…

SMG Park and Ride absolutely disgusting service. I paid for my parking space from 5pm I arrived there at 8 and told me that I m not allowed to park because I m late and I have to make a new booking and pay the whole price again. At the end of the day the space was paid for 5 days regardless that I arrived 1h late or 2 days the place was paid so instead they didn’t allow me to park and sold that place again, a bunch of thieves. I had to park my car on the street because I didn’t had the money to rebook it again and when I came back the car was all scratched. Please if you want to a pleasant holiday avoid this car park at any costs. Also I have told them that I have read the bad reviews about them and they guy said to me “ And yet to still came here like he knew”. In the future I rather pay double the price but have the peace of mind that my car is parked in the official airport car park with a professional team.

We had a negative experience

We had a negative experience. The location is not straightforward, and when getting there, it is like a built site. We waited for over 30 minutes for the shuttle, kept being given unrealistic times of wait (5 min, then 10, then 10), we almost missed our flight. When we came back, our key could not be found. We had to rely on my second key to find the vehicle. They need to organise themselves more.

Terrible.

Terrible.
Big headache, someone drove my car the entire time I left it there and I received lots of charges.
Customer service ignored me.

Friendly but beware….

Lovely helpful people although meet and greet place is not that straight forward. Beware - they are closed for 4 hours in the night so we had to get a taxi from Stanstead £24 and undo a gate lock in a very rural place - lucky taxi driver was v helpful. This is not clear when you book.

Booked the space then told had to pay…

Booked the space then told had to pay extra £10 on arrival.

When I received my car back. There was a mark on the car. One person was helping and another guy stepped in was very rude.
Told me it looked better than before. Shouted at me and was very rude.

Would never use this company Timber…

Would never use this company Timber Yard Park and Ride again, from start to finish was the worst experience. The driver asked for £15 on arrival to drop us to the airport and said it was for the stopping charge. Which was not stated when we booked, I asked for a receipt and I’m still waiting.
On arrival back from our holiday we were told that our car keys had been stolen, with no background information until we started asking questions. We were then told we would have to take a cab home and pay for it ourselves. The staff are very unprofessional there is no office where you book your car in and give your keys, clearly there is no security as how do loads of car keys get stolen from a place that is open and in operation 24hrs. There has been no contact from the company since this happened and I've now had to file a complaint asking to be reimbursed for the unplanned expenses to get home and to get back to get our car out.

This is the worst experience ever and I would not recommend such an unprofessional place to anyone. It’s a complete con.

Had no problems with service or…

Had no problems with service or location. The car was safe, the staff were helpful. Yeah you have to pay £10 extra barrier fee but it's cheap as chips to park there. Other reviews seem a bit harsh...it's not luxury. You're not paying for that. Not sure what people expect for the price???

The worst experience ever

This was the worst experience with parking services ever. The driver was not there when I've arrived and he almost cost us to loss our flight. I had to beg another driver who had finished his work to drive us to Airport. I've reached the the airport 45 min prior departure though I was at the parking 3 hours earlier as I've booked. In addition to that they didn't included the airport parking fees so that added an extra cost of £15. On their booking details only ULEZ charges were mentioned. If I had known that I would have booked with some other providers that included the fee and were more competitive and probably providing better service. Again in the return, I had to wait for more than 1 hour to pick us up from airport.

Airport parking fee not included in the price
The delivery and retrieval of the car was terrible, had to wait loads -1 hour plus in the car park- even if they were advised 30min prior my arrival. In addition to that they didn't included the airport parking fees that added an extra cost of £15. On their booking details only ULEZ charges were mentioned. If I had known that I would have booked with some other providers that included the fee and were more competitive and probably providing better service.

Poor service

On arrival parked car in not very secure area then the minibus was old (2007) and not clean inside and out not a good image for the company. The driver then drove too fast whilst on his phone swerving all over the road then missed the turning for the airport. On arrival back to UK called for return minibus told 40 minutes eventually turned up 90 minutes later. The driver was apologetic for the lateness but I suggest more vehicles to accommodate all the passengers arriving or larger minibus won't be using this service again.
