Horrible experience getting out of garage

I had a QR code from the place I ate at Santana Row, and the reader wouldn't recognize it. So I had to end up paying with my apple pay in order to leave the garage (there was a whole line of cars waiting to leave behind me and only ONE open machine to depart so that added to the stress of the situation, trying to get the reader to take my QR code). In the end I paid and left - there is little to no recourse because there are no human beings around to help.

Several problems

Several problems: ticketed before my time expired, app not accepting my credit card (same one always used), and app not continuing to the payment page.
