The online credit card/access and payment was delayed and I had to call cs to get out of the parking structure. Somewhat annoying for the price of the parking structure.

We are both in our 80s and this was our first experience. At first, we weren’t terminated and then so very thankful. It was so easy breezy.

The card reader at garage exit was not…

The card reader at garage exit was not functioning.
We were stuck in a line of cars, all of whom could not exit the garage due to the credit card reader malfunction.
We were connected to someone out of the country when we requested help. After about 15 minutes of frustration, we finally received a code and were able to get the gate raised. This was after I had to read my visa # and exp date, etc out to her, while in a public area. All of the cars in line had the same problem. This is a horrible system! I would give 0 stars if possible.

Fast and convenient

From my experience, I found the mobile scan and pay to be straightforward and easy to use. We should be given a notice of how much "time we have to exit" because loading up the kids, strollers, changing diapers, getting directions, gps, and getting things situated is at least 15mins. I would hate to pay and then "run out of time" upon exit, if there is a limit. Regardless, easy and convenient. 4/5 stars!

You need an in person attendant

You need an in person attendant. Machine wouldn’t accept our information or the information of others. Cars backed up to exit. Very frustrating for everyone. We called our credit card company to see if they denied our charge and they said no, that no charge was attempted, so it was the faulty machine.

Good luck parking there without a smartphone.

It is 2025, but that doesn’t mean we all have smartphones or have them on us 100% of the time. Luckily for us, I had one.
At the exit, the Website showed that we had paid, but the gate did not open. When scanning the code at the gate, we received a message saying that a record of the car entering the garage was not found. We had to call the help line, which was overseas, who had to send us a payment link to a phone.
Luckily it was not a very busy time, so only a couple of cars were stuck behind us. Still that gives you a terrible feeling of bothering everyone while also dealing with the frustration of an automated that is not designed to make the user life easier, even if they think they do. It could have been much worse, given that that was the only exit to the garage.
Can we just have an option for payment at the machine that does not require a smartphone?

Frustrating

Confusing, awkward, and time consuming for a first time user. Typing in all my credit card info just to park?!? I couldn’t understand the fast-talking employee on the distorted speaker. When I asked her nicely to please repeat herself slower, she spoke equally fast but LOUDER. She sounded annoyed like she thought I was an idiot. The whole thing took too long at the entrance. Luckily nobody was behind me. It’s always a pain to park in Carmel and this makes it even worse. I’ll go elsewhere in the future.

Unpleasant difficult system

Directions were hard to follow at the entrance. They required the use of my cell phone which was not readily available. Why is it so complicated now? Texting a texted number to open gate?? Then 2 texts interrupted my romantic dinner with my husband telling me to input my credit card right now so I could speed checkout. Very creepy inputting credit card to a link before service has been provided. I informed restaurant above garage how rude your system was. It will impact their business.
