Simple, quick, and convenient
I was able to pay for parking from the convenience of my phone.
There is no way to contact anyone
There is no way to contact anyone. It’s a circle of nothingness. And very frustrating
We booked our parking and received…
We booked our parking and received e-mail confirmation. There was no QR code or any way to scan at the garage, so we called customer support on our way to the garage. The agent assured us everything would be ok at the garage and that we would be able to enter our reservation number at the garage exit. This was not true. At the exit, there was no way to enter a code. We called customer service again for help and ended up needing to call the urgent number for the garage itself. As we did, the care behind us screamed at us since we were delaying their exit. We explained, the person on the phone triggered the gate to open and we were able to leave.
Starting that evening, I started to get texts from the garage that I had not paid. My husband called Parking.com, who directed him to the gargage. He called the garage, who directed him back to Parking.com. Neither was helpful. After two attempts with each, he finally gave up. I paid $48 in late fees and garage costs despite the fact that I had prepaid $17 to Parking.com. This is utterly ridiculous, and I will never use this service again.
Wrong date and time.
When I entered the day and time I thought it was different from the date and time booked. By the time I realized the problem, I couldn’t adjust it.
A total sh** show
A total sh** show! When it was time to leave, the garage instructions said to scan code, but there was nothing to scan on my receipt. I found a garage attendant as cars lined up behind us, and all she could tell us to do was call a number. We did and after several minutes of back and forth with whoever was on the phone, the gate finally opened and let us out. I won't fall for this trap again.
Charged for reservation at garage operated by competing vendor
Parking.com let me pay for a reservation which didn't provide a code to scan at the garage which separately charged me for parking through Metropolis. Why pay two vendors for the same parking garage? Not going to repeat that mistake.
The system is a bit confusing
The system is a bit confusing. We reserved in advance online and the confirmation has no barcode; it is never clear what you're supposed to do with the bar code posted around the garage. The person in the onsite booth told us to call phone number when it came time to leave. We're just happy that the gate opened and we didn't have to do that.

Convenient
Pros - Easy entrance. Lots of parking spaces. Easy Exit.
Cons - I had to walk down the ramp where the cars enter because I was not able to enter the building with the elevator to the parking garage.

The parking garage did not accept the scan code. Also, it wasn’t clear that the site had an upcharge - parking at the lot I chose would have been 8 dollars less if I had used a ticket instead of paying ahead on this site. Won’t use again.

No Barcode Reader!
We received a barcode via email. But guess what? There was no barcode reader at the garage!!!

Compared to my last visit to this garage for parking, this visit was much better. I got into the garage OK but the gate would not lift up when I tried to leave. Fortunately, a garage worker helped me get my ticket read (he had the magic touch) and I was able to leave.

Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing
I booked parking online and paid for it in advance.
When I arrived at the parking lot, the attendant told me to scan my QR code to enter. I tried several times unsuccessfully to scan the QR code. The gate was open so I entered without scanning the code. When I was leaving, I gave the attendant my phone to scan the code. She then asked me to pay $17. I told her that I had already paid, and she then called a number. The person on the other end of the call asked me who I had booked the parking with. I said parking.com, and they said thanks and opened the gate for me to exit.
I hope that that is not the process for people who book parking in advance. If it is not, then someone needs to determine why things went the way they did that night. If it is the way things are supposed to work, then that says a lot about the company.

Double charge
It was great to find a convenient parking spot but then it charged both online and in person I had to pay again at the garage so I ended up paying double.
UPDATE: customer service reached out and was very responsive. They provided a refund of the double charge when I sent them my receipt.

Horrible experience
This was horrible. Going in from sunlight to a dark cave with more cars right behind me made it impossible to realize there were TWO different parking sites, and I ended up in one that wasn’t reserved. Ended up paying TWiCE. Absolutely no online instructions to warn about this. Will never repeat.
