I rented an apartment for 6 weeks thru Paris Attitude. My take on the entire rental experience is "Frustrating and stressful." Based on other reviews, from Day1, I was worried about getting the Refund on my security deposit. My gut feeling was correct. About 40 days after checkout and tons of emails later (stress) I finally got my refund thru Paris Attitude. Thank you.
For new prospective tenants, I would like to explain/caution you. Based on my experience, it appears that Paris Attitude is strictly a 3rd party with very little to no control over the cleanliness of the apartment or the security deposit refund process IF THE OWNER MANAGES THE CHECK-IN. They will tell you the owner has your money. At the time of booking, I was not at all aware of this scenario. My check-in was done by a concierge service (AJ Flat services) that was hired by the owner. Thus, Paris Attitude was not directly involved in my check-in or check-out. However, I have had to involve them in getting me first, a small compensation (for not being able to use the shower for 4 days initially and later for getting me the security deposit refund as the owner has been extremely unresponsive and unprofesssional). Here though Paris Attitude did deliver and got me the money back, It was NOT AT ALL A DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE. Perhaps I was lucky.
Overall, I can warn you that based on the contract, the expectation is that at check-out the apartment will be left in a rentable condition. Thus, I am assuming that they/owner/concierge do not involve a cleaning service. They only wash the sheets and towels. We also found a very dusty apartment with no cleaning supplies and were asked to leave it spotless clean. The concierge (AJ flat services) had the nerve to tell me that "all faucets should be spotless" and kept saying/threatening "If you want your security deposit back then you must leave it very clean, No spots on the faucets)." When I had complained about the lack of cleanliness to Paris Attitude, the customer service asked me for photo/video evidence. So please record. At check-in things on surface may look clean but once you start using stuff you will see reality. They told me I should have recorded evidence of dust on my hand or cleaning paper!!
Overall, it is not at all the usual rental business that I was familiar with in the US.
PS: The property I stayed was a fantastic location and a great building, but I would not recommend staying there because of a very negative experience with the owner/concierge. Also note, that the 20 Rue Raynouard property was last reviewed in 2013. Now despite trying, I was NOT ABLE TO LEAVE A REVIEW!! CAUTION! CAUTION!!

n early August, we signed a rental agreement and made the full down payment for an apartment scheduled to start in September. We had planned to move in on September 7th, but on September 2nd, PARIS ATTITUDE called to "inform" us of a mistake by the landlord—the unit was no longer available!!! They offered either a full refund of the down payment (with no mention of any penalty or additional compensation) or an alternative apartment in a distant location, which was also significantly more expensive than our original choice.
Their apology words came to us totally without empathy: We are without the apartment, 4 days before moving, not for our mistake!
Very bad experience, absolutely not recommended!

I found the process of completing my rental documents, disjointed and messy. I was sent links that did not work, a lease that required revision because an important need of the landlord was omitted in addition to last minute requests that should have been flagged at the beginning

We are three Norwegian students renting an apartment in Paris through Paris Attitude. We pay €3011 per month plus several thousand in agency fees, and on top of that we also pay for electricity separately. For this price, we expected a clean and functional apartment, but what we got was completely unacceptable.
When we arrived, the entire apartment was filthy. The bathroom was full of mold, the cupboards in the kitchen had dirty plates with leftover food, and the whole place had clearly not been cleaned at all. The bedding that was supposed to be included was so dirty that we had to go out and buy completely new sheets and other essentials ourselves.
In addition, several things in the apartment do not work: the fridge is broken, the light in the bedroom and in the bathroom does not work, and nothing has been repaired. Paris Attitude insists that this is the landlord’s responsibility, but the landlord refuses to do anything and even told us directly: “I am not your dog,” when we asked if he could come and look at the fridge. He dismisses our problems and claims that everything is “nonsense” and that we are wasting his time.
We have called Paris Attitude countless times – close to 200 attempts – but they refuse to help us. Both the agency and the landlord show a complete lack of professionalism, respect, and responsibility. No cleaning service, no compensation, no solutions – nothing.
For over €3000 a month plus fees and electricity, this experience has been deeply stressful and extremely disappointing. We strongly advise others to avoid Paris Attitude and be very cautious before signing anything with them.

Really bad customer service. Was not helpful, annoyed tone and was dismissive of my questions. Personally, do not recommend.
The platform offers a diverse variety of apartments. It is easy to navigate through the platform. The real estate agent was great, he was attentive and willing to help.

- you get automated reminders every day to complete the rental process but no one responds to specific questions (neither by phone nor by email)
- after 3 automated reminders they cancelled my application and told me to apply with another agency
This was the most outrageous behavior by an agency I have experienced in years.
I assume there is just KI on the other end or someone without a brain to make this happen.
Paying 1500 agency fees for this service is a disgrace.
On top, you have to pay fees and deposit before having a signed rental agreement. I consider this illegal.
Stay far away from this agency!

Paris Attitude was recommended by a friend, and our initial conversations with staff went well. We rented an apartment in the Marais for five months, but unfortunately the landlord was very slow to address issues, such as a broken dishwasher and lack of WiFi in much of the apartment. Shockingly, when our daughter accidentally locked herself out of the apartment, neither Paris Attitude nor the landlord was able to help in a timely manner. When Paris Attitude ultimately (after hours) decided to send a locksmith to change the front door lock, the landlord contacted my daughter (age: 21) and told her, “If you break my lock I will break your face.” This scary verbal abuse we reported to Paris Attitude, yet they continue to represent this apartment on their website, with one glowing review. This shows that, unfortunately, Paris Attitude does not in fact take a careful look at both the properties and the landlord. No one should rent from them. Paris Attitude has questioned whether this is a “real” review, and it is - we rented through them, paid the significant commission, and relied on their vetting of the apartment and landlord, as the total amount for the rental was very significant.
Paris Attitude, in response to your response written below, it is deceitful to claim that you did not know about all of these issues regarding the Marias apartment. For the past four month you and our family have been engaged in emails back and forth trying to resolve getting our security deposit back. Further, we have proof of the conversations we had with you (via email, text and phone) when our daughter was locked from the apartment and verbally threatened by the landlord. To claim that you somehow did not know about all this is disingenuous. Again, if this is the way you choose to run your agency, no one should rent from you.

Access to the apartments via the website was fine as was the application process. I did request a phone call a few times which never happened. The email responses were useful towards obtaining the apartment. The transaction went through smoothly.

Very easy to find an apartment that met my needs, and my agent was super friendly and responsive. Unfortunately there was some issues with selecting payment with credit card vs bank transfer, but we were able to figure out a solve. Please note this review pertains the booking process, since I have not started my tenancy with them quite yet.

The agent was always prompt and professional. This is my first time renting an apartment in Paris so I imagine my questions were probably excessive, but the agent was always patient and understanding. I will highly recommend Paris Attitude to my friends.

Bad customer service and dirty apartment upon arrival!
You have to know that at Paris attitude the previous tenant cleans for the next one. There is no professional cleaning involved which I think for the price we pay as a service fee, it’s just unacceptable. When I got to the apartment I rented it was so dirty I couldn’t believe it. Dusty floors, smelly sheets, hairs on carpets, perishable smelly sauces in cupboards… I had to fight to have them recognize their fault. But they didn’t take charge. I had to organize a cleaning lady on my own. (They don’t answer on weekends, no hotline!!!) and after 2 months I am still waiting to be reimbursed. I am calling them emailing them, no answer… Outrageous! DO NOT recommend.
