I was so nervous about the parcel I sent to Australia after reading the reviews on this website, I went back to the drop off site and asked to take the parcel back! Although it was still there at the shop, they could not give it back to me as it had been scanned into the system and was about to be picked up. I fretted for a few days while it was delayed briefly for scans etc. Then my son sent me a photo of the box and it had arrived safe and sound with all contents intact and included. I think people tend to leave bad reviews when something bad happens so I thought I should let people know - it did work!!

My heart is broke. Totally sapped of energy. Given the runaround until deadline to claim expired.

Lousy service, no phone number to talk to a human. UPS have lost my parcel, and parcel compare won't file a claim so I can get reimbursed.

Stay away if I was you do not go near this company they just rip you off at every point they can
They sound cheap but then u get charged for so many extras and at the end they don’t deliver your parcel anyway and then have the cheek to demand more money to return your parcel to you even though you have paid ridiculous amounts in extras added on already absolute joke of a company who ripping people off left right and centre stay away is my advice !!

very poor and completely untrustworthy, I received my barcode to send my parcel but the code was useless and never worked in any of the 3 shops I tried and cost £6 + so I cancelled and received 38p refund , trying to get anywhere on their 'customer support' is a complete waste of time, a complete and utter SCAM, avoid at all cost

Unclear wording regarding customs charges from uk to Ireland meant triple the actual price. 2 Parcels needed quickly for Birthdays then delayed by at least 4 days no clear reason or update. Impossible to actually talk to anyone to get a straight answer or any accountability

Do not use this service, instead find a trusted courier by yourself and save a lot of trouble. They will deliver your items completely destroyed and then claim that it is your fault.
Then 2 months later they charge me an extra £108 that take from your bank account with no notice. This is a fradulent company. Avoid at all costs and I am reporting the fraud.

I wish I had looked at Trustpilot first! Just look at the reviews. First and last time of using Parcelcompare today! Awful experience, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, and a system that just says label issue with no further information. Give this company a wide berth and save yourself the distress.

Absolute melts. Collection booked from drop off point. Courier never arrived to collect the parcel so I had to collect it back from the shop and use different company to send it out. Contacted Parcel Compare to get full refund for not providing service and they response after 2 days was that they rebooked my collection despite me telling them that parcel is no longer in drop off point as I did collected it back. What a bunch of lemons. Shocking NO service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
The worst customer service I have ever received! took almost 5 months to get an answer on a post delivery payment charge, no way to contact them other than their email which took a week between each reply and all answer were automated copy and pasted from the previous one, when I finally got an answer they were of no help will never use this company again and will be advising anyone else to steer clear

Worst fraudulent company ever.
The items I sent through this disgusting fraudster company got lost. UPs paid for the lost items claimed But parcel compare refused payment after 3 months plus of investigation and asking me questions backwards and forward for 3 months , in order to avoid paying for my lost items that they have claimed on my behalf as they will send your parcel from their account. So UPs can only pay for claim to the account holder ( parcel compare) as I have to get the claim for my lost items through parcelcompare because I sent my parcel through them.
After 3 months plus of claim processing , parcelcompare got back to me saying my item is personal belongings (used and new clothes) that it’s not allowed. BUT ON THIER WEBSITE AND CHAT ITS SAID USED CLOTHES/new clothing are allowed for shipment as long as it’s a gift. Of Which my item is a gift to my younger sister children in Canada.
I sent them evidence on their site and chat from their website that the item (used and new baby clothes) are allowed. Because it was all checked before choosing to use parcelcompare.
The worst part is that they received the claim for lost items from UPs on my behalf and kept the money for themselves and refused to pay me for my lost items. I contacted UPs they said they can’t help because my items was sent under parcelcompare..
PARCELCOMPARE IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY AND THEY WILL COME UP WITH ANYTHING TO PERVERT PAYING FOR YOUR LOST ITEMS SENT UNDER THEIR ACCOUNT WITH THE MAIN SHIPMENT COMPANY.
BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDSTER

AVOID!!!
I rarely leave negative feedback, but avoid at all costs.
Used these as online said it would be quicker to send overseas parcel (not cheapest, but fastest). My package hasn't arrived after 25 days, and they are not interested in finding out why. I can see the tracking info, but no one knows what's happening.....my poor nephew is still waiting for his late birthday gift.

Do not use this company they took £150 pounds to send 7 parcels back to a kitchen company for me , they collected all parcels , then the next day returned 2 saying they where to long to send ,I Lost my credit for them from the kitchen company and then 2 weeks later they took a further £70 pounds with out my permission out of my bank account because they returned the parcels to me , they have now been investigating this for 6 month's and keep keep saying they looking into it, I will have no option but to now look at reclaiming through my bank account as they have stolen from me

Never again. Although my parcel was delivered on time I was charged twice. To navigate their platform, to resolve this issue is a nightmare. Someone did get back to me but wasvasking for a screenshot of the double payment. I have just raised a complaint with my credit card provider to resolve the issue.

Simply awful! My parcel was delivered to the wrong address. There is no way to contact customer services other than their online chatbot (which allegedly raised a support ticket for me). I never heard anything back despite trying to chase. Now stuck in their horrific compensation claim process and am significantly out of pocket. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

what a poor poor company, tried to send a parcel with them via fedex, took my fees, printed off the labels they supplied, went to three drop off/collection points and would not accept the provided bar code, after an hour trying to speak with customer service agent, give up, on top of that for their cheek, there's a £5 plus vat cancellation fee, after runnung around to these frop off points, would have been cheaper to take the bloomin parcel myself.... STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.... you have been warned ....

Fantastic! I had to return a non working car stereo to China that I bought off Aliexpress. Sadly the parcel was held at customs in China. I tried to get a refund from PayPal for the item and tried contacting the seller with no success. I then contacted ParcelCompare. They helped greatly providing all the information I needed to get a refund from PayPal.
Highly recommended and I will definitely be using them in the future along with recommending them to friends and family.

Let me explain my situation.
On the 23rd of March, through Parcel Compare, I booked a shipping service from London to Edinburgh. The parcel weighed 30 kg, but I chose to pay for 50 kg to ensure there would be no issues. I provided the correct dimensions and weight — in fact, I did everything to make sure everything was in order.
Parcel Compare arranged the shipment via UPS. Everything seemed fine — they came and collected the parcel from my door on the 24th, with delivery scheduled for the 25th of March.
After the parcel was collected, I received a message from UPS stating that the parcel would be returned to me due to unpaid additional handling charges. This is completely incorrect, as I have the receipt from Parcel Compare clearly showing that the additional handling fee was paid, amounting to £3.30.
Since then, I have been trying to resolve this issue with both Parcel Compare and UPS. Today, the 25th of March, UPS attempted to return the parcel to me, which I refused, as I have paid correctly and in full for this service.
I contacted Parcel Compare, and somehow I was made to feel at fault for refusing the return of the parcel. I no longer understand what is going on. I do not understand why these services are being sold if they cannot be properly fulfilled.
The customer service has been poor — frankly, I would say unacceptable. I am deeply disappointed.
Thank you.

Booked a delivery to and from uk mainland - system wouldnt let me confirm my email address (website error and wouldnt load every time i followed the link) so couldnt actually print my labels so cancelled the order, been waiting two weeks for a refund that was promised within 5 days - fobbed off by advisors.. no record of me, my email address, the transaction blah blah.. Charged me £38.95 originally, ended up taking it to the post office and got the same service with £400 cover for nearly £20 less - £22. Massive rip off, poor customer service - the negative reviews are valid. Now having to open a case through my bank to get my money back.
