Always amazes me how guilable people continue to get ripped off in this day and age.... I personally NEVER EVER buy unless from a well established, well REVIEWED company so all these negatives could of been avoided you dumb fools... I've no pity... I see many on sites that sell totally blind to the fact their seller has 1 star from a billion reviews then go ahead and still order.... I mean, come on? Are you for real hahahahah
Dumb and dumber

On Feb 2023 John Tanner was taken to an employment tribunal for not paying staff. He’s done the same to staff at his new business which is a franchise of Enigma Rooms Chippenham. They have now filed a lawsuit against him.

He claimed he sold the company in April 2022 even though he was still actively advertising products on social media. He was also listed as director of theirs company in July 2023 when he filed his tax returns to company house and hmrc.

On March 14th 2023 he sent company house a file stating he’s resigned from paranormal electronics and tried backdating to April of 2022 so he doesn’t need to pay those who took him to court what they are owed.

Hopefully this paper trail will finally put him in jail for the years of fraud he has committed.

If you search paranormal electronics on company house website. Click people. You will see he has other businesses., one of which lists his home address. If he owes you money for faulty or non delivery of equipment. You now have his details to take legal access out against him personally.

He’s a con man and fraudster who used the ltd status to steal your hard earned cash.

I would not try to chase paranormal electronics anymore. John Tanner has closed the business and been taken to court by his former employees for illegal deductions in their wages. They won BTW to the tune of £4000. That must sting John but hey once a thief always a thief.

I received my order after 8 months after it got lost in customs in the USA and finally they sent a new SLS version 2 camera/tablet. But I received it broken and I sent pictures of the package before I opened it and then pictures and explanation that there are parts loose and rolling around inside the unit. And the tablet wouldn't work correctly either...it showed 100 percent battery but wouldn't stay on as soon as I unplugged it from the wall. When I plug it in it comes on... when I unplug it it turns off and won't turn back on. Even with it on it won't do anything except show the main screen, nothing else. They said that if I paid to have it shipped back they would exchange it and send a new one but they refuse to pay the shipping because it's far more expensive to ship it out of the USA than it is to send it. They said they couldn't find a good enough price so it was up to me to pay the $304 UPS wanted to send it. Which is more than the $200+.I paid for it. Now they completely ignore my emails and have been ignoring me for almost a year and I have continued to email them in a very kind manner as well and still no response. Now I sit here with a worthless item and absolutely ignored. I don't why they just don't send me a replacement since I sent them way more than enough photos and videos of the none working item. Extremely disgusting people, con artist and thieves. If they do replace the item as it's their responsibility to do. I will gladly Change the review. Very disappointed since I had made vacation plans with my son and never got to it because of paranormal electronics UK. The original order date was 4/10/2021 once I finally got the broken SLS version 2 it was 10/25/2021 then they finally responded to my email about the broken SLS on 12/9/2021 so I've been waiting for a resolution for 13 months and have been being ignored for the past 7-8 months. Just to clarify a complete timeline. It's been almost 2 frickin years since they took my money!!!

I ordered things from this side on 5:th october 2022, the money went trough 7:th of october. Got a mail the next day with a thank you for buying stuff there and then nothing. I´ve tried to contact them with e-mails, by their website and Facebook and nothing. Not an answer and no things has arrived to me. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! Cause you´ll never get them!

Have used for about 5 years. Delayed post but otherwise fine - delayed by 5 days on promised delivery time due to courier problems? All equipment as expected.

This company is a total scam, he doesn't reply to emails he doesn't send out goods he needs locking up! Glad I can do a charge back on my Mastercard! We will meet Mr tanner,......
Update.... he has finally communicated with me and said I have threatened him, and will now cease all communication. So in other words he has scammed me big time. Anyone thinking of using this spineless weasel and his company I would say run as fast as you can in the opposite direction! DONT GIVE HIM YOUR HARD EARNED CASH. HE EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY THIS WAS THIS WASNT HIS REVIEW PAGE!!! this man doesn't know how to tell the truth he hides behind his wife Emma, and won't show himself spineless weasel as he is!!!!. Action fraud now involved and small claims court for you Mr tanner.

I have now in my possession home addressfor the owner of paranormal electronics, for all the people that he has ripped off, if you want his home address message me on Facebook.

Update:: the owner has now sent a email to the organiser of the event where he has ripped people off, stating he no longer owns parnormal electronics. All I will say people is check companies house you will see this is a total lie and just his way of trying to get out of trouble, but it's way to late for that. And you already have my phone number to ring me anytime. So waste of time asking for more information that you already have!!
Update:
He is now trying to get trustpilot to remove my review, unfortunately for him, I have my bank statements and a email trail from this weasel and I doubt he will be having my review removed. Just so you all know any monies you have lost is going into his new venture in Chippenham, a axe throwing experience . For God's sake let's find out where in Chippenham and pay this weasel a visit!!!!

These guys are a total con. I ordered items back in January. The cheapest items were fine but the rempod arrived faulty. The Spirit Box didn't even arrive. Emails requesting a refund have been ignored.

I wish I had seen these reviews before placing my order, if I had I would not have placed it. One star is given because I have to, they don’t deserve that. Placed order, no communication since, no one replying to my emails, and a full message inbox on their phone line that they don’t answer or that you can leave a message on. A proper con of a company. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUT ANYTHING FROM PARANORMAL ELECTRONICS OR WHATEVER THEY CALL THEMSELVES ON HERE.

Amendment 1 - Cheeky b@stards are now trying to get this review removed by claiming they can’t solve my issue, even after they requested more info through Trustpilot to which I gave my order number. I’ve now sent a copy of my order confirmation to verify.

Amendment 2 - Have also sent the company 4 requests to refund me, neither email has been replied to even after me asking them to confirm it’s being processed.

Amendment 3 - Even after sending proof to Trustpilot, the conartists are still trying to have my review removed by claiming it was written for paranormalelectronics.co.uk whereas the listing on here is for paranormalelectronics.com (which doesn’t actually exist). Though it is quite clear at the very top it does say paranormalelectronics.co.uk. They will try everything to have the bad reviews removed.

Con artist who will keep your money and send no items. Sent multiple emails, asking for a refund, the dosser hasn't replied

Currently reported to trading standards and have reported as a fraudster to klarna which he uses as a payment method.

Next course of action will be going down to his store in Swindon and taking it up in person with this mess of a man.

After 10 months of them keeping my money I have started proceedings with trading standards and also starting court proceedings. Paranormal electronics or church. They are the same.
Don't give them money . Mr Tanner is a fake seller who you need to avoid . Unless you like giving money away. They even have a Facebook page where you are unable to comment as they know they have taken thousands of pounds from their customers without fulfilling the order

Still waiting for my refund...since FEB..Think they are clever with a name change but still the same scam. FB comments not allowed on the fb site tells you all you need to know. Trading standards and lawyers been notified as they are STEALING peoples money. They should be stopped from trading. I cannot believe these fraudsters are being allowed to trade. Save your money and go somewhere else. I might as well as just thrown my money up the street than trade with them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I have now received a refund from them for my sls that was ordered in January 2022 which I am very grateful for as it was nearly £300

All I can advise is keep contacting them via email relentlessly you might be as surprised as I was.

Give them their dues my money was eventually returned and that I’m thankful for 👍

I ordered a SLS Camera from Paranormal Electronics and paid for it on 20.02.22, still havent received it now its 23.05.22!! CANNOT get to talk to ANYBODY on the phone, they wont answer my emails. They have taken my money and will not answer my requests for a refund. £234.99 is not something I can just forget about. I dont know what to do next, I didnt want to give any stars but needed to to rate it. What can I do now? Besides tell everyone NOT to buy anything from them, seems like a scam!!!

purchased there own small para pod arrived on time. Very poorly made and faulty. constantly promising to replace , constantly saying it had been dispatched 3 months on no para pod. Said now it was out of stock so would give refund also did not happen, so got refund through my credit card. Will never purchase from them again. definitely got the right company your logo at top of trust pilot is exactly the same logo on my invoice with same wording.!!

Avoid this company at all costs! Wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered £140 of equipment. There was no other option than a bank transfer. I have received no goods and despite having emailed numerous times I have had no response. No telephone number to call. Unable to contact through Facebook. Managed to leave a tweet on Twitter. No response. I guess this will be deleted. They have now been reported as fraud. Nothing but a scamming company who takes peoples hard earned money and don't deliver. They need closing down.

I ordered a ovilus in May 2021, I have never received it! These people are a joke , I got excuse after excuse, I was told in January 2022 my order was next … still waiting! They have now stop replying to my emails..
and this piece of equipment isn’t even in their website anymore!
I am living in the US and I buy stuff all the time in the states and the vendors are fantastic!
Please do your research on this company, it will stop the heartache knowing you spent your hard earned cash on a piece of equipment, which you are probably never going to receive!!

Do NOT buy from this company unless you're looking for them to take your money but send nothing in return. I have had nothing but trouble with them for almost two years now. I'm still waiting for hundreds of pounds worth of their products (which I now very much believe they have no intentions of sending). Responses to emails and phone calls are few and far between, and if you're lucky enough to get a response, it will only be filled with excuses and fake promises regarding the reasons you haven't received your order.

At this stage, I'm bored of hearing 'there has been a SMALL delay from the supplier'...this gives 'small' a whole new meaning. This is a UK company and I've received orders from abroad with much less trouble and waiting time.

Having spoken to the owner himself, I was returned with very brief and unhelpful comments, to which I thought was rude to start with. It's only upon later reflection that I know I was given these responses because he couldn't answer my questions in any other way (such as a request of proof that an order had been dispatched).

They will also refuse to refund you, and offer you a voucher refund in response. Again, do NOT take this option.

At this point, I am slightly at a loss of what steps to take next in regards getting my products or my money back. But if I am able to deter just one person from ordering from this dishonest and troublesome company, then its a step in the right direction.

I am not the only one to be find trouble with this company. Please read the hundreds of other poor reviews and take your custom elsewhere. Paranormal Electronics don't deserve your time or money.
