Sadly the modal pyjamas are poor quality
Sadly the modal pyjamas have pilled after about five washes and today my fingernail made a hole in the fabric. I have two pairs. They were expensive.
I am not able to recommend this product and I'm so disappointed.

Terrific customer service online, from Daphne, needed a big favour, I needed the next size up for my daughter and Daphne made it all happen, we did the return, the re purchase, the postage all made it on the day before she left for the UK. That was close and mission impossible!! WE DID IT! Thank you DAPHNE 10/10 and of course the pjs are luxurious xoxox
Dishonest company
I ordered a few T-shirts form them. Three of them are stained and unwearable. I sent them an email with pictures, and original tag attached, asking for return instructions and/or refund.
They responded that the pictures were not clear enough. I re-sent them the pictures, and there is no response from them
I'll take it up with my cc company and necver order from them again

They are trustworthy with high quality items. I have many clothing items and they are definitely high quality. I’ve never had any problems with the quality or the transactions. I will buy again and again. The wrapping to ship is beautiful. They have great communication on their shipping and updates. Some of these poor ratings I suggest you take with a grain of salt. Don’t be afraid to buy from them.
Double charged for return
This was my first time purchasing from Papinelle. I had to return a couple of items. I saw on the website that they would deduct $9.99 for the return, but they actually deduct $9.99 twice - they wouldn't let me ship back all return items in one package (and don't tell you that in advance). Therefore, returning the items ends up costing twice as much ($19.98). On top of that, they only give you store credit for returns on sale items. Will never purchase from this company again. It's too risky to purchase items that may not fit or be poor quality, and then be charged an arm and a leg to return those that you don't like.

My silk pant ripped after a few months and as I have several pairs of there other pjs in cotton they are not even worn that much as I like the cotton when warm . Customer service was all about past receipt even though posted Photo of all 8 pairs of pjs. They were not going to do anything. And after that request never heard from them again

Luxury, expensive cotton/ silk sleepwear falling apart.
At first, I thought that the cotton/silk pajamas and nightgowns were a dream. I own 4 sets of PJ’s, a robe and 1 nightgown. I have also gifted my friends and daughters, and clients with these also throughout the years. They all have fallen apart at the seams. I have restitched some, however, they continue to fall apart. How very disconcerting when you find a product you love. What am I supposed to do with ALL of them?
I recently purchased the 100% cotton set at Nordstrom’s. They are thicker ( which makes them warmer) however, I’m hoping that they will be more resilient. No one ever responds to my messages. Customer service is non existent. Shame on this company!!!

I have been a loyal customer of the Papinelle brand for many years and have always been impressed with the high quality of their cotton products. However, in the last couple of years, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of their fabrics. Recently, I purchased some summer nighties that ripped after only two wears, and the cotton underwear I bought is extremely flimsy and tears easily. It feels like the material is as thin as paper. I am wondering if this is a result of shrinkflation. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with the decline in quality.

Absolutely do NOT buy from this company! I used to give these folks a break on all their mistakes & poor to HORRIBLE customer service they have on their returns. No MORE. After 10-20 attempts via emails & vms, re a DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE & over-sized item i receved, I've been ignored. Sent photos too! THIS is exactly how you lose customers & is a telltale sign your company is in trouble. For every customer leaving a bad review I guarantee you, there are 10-20 more with the same problems. I've received items with large holes in major seams that were never stitched properly. Quality control has gone WAY down, and fabrics are no longer as beautiful. Many items downright unattractive in construction, design & fabrics, others with synthetic content or simply ugly. So much so, it's very difficult to find anything that matches their original quality of merchandise in any way. What an outrageous downfall & incredible insult, disservice & disrespect toward customers! I ran my own retail business for 11yrs & never had a single complaint. There's NO excuse for this kind of behavior. :(
I would NEVER recommend Papinelle.…
I have 2 pair of pj's that keep disintegrating. I wash by hand and hang to dry. I've never ironed them. I've taken the Navy blue ones (80% cotton/20%silk)with white piping back to Nordstroms for repair. There is no end to them coming apart at the seams, even just trim. The other pair which are navy with white flowers (70% cotton/30% silk) actually just come apart in the middle of the thigh and waistband. I've taken them to a seamstress several times and she can't believe what is happening to them. I have 100% silk dresses that I have had for years and they are in excellent condition. I hand-wash and iron them. These are not cheap nightwear costing approximately $100 each. I would never recommend anyone purchasing anything by Papinelle.

Terrible fabric quality and bad customer service
I ordered four pair of pyjamas. The navy 'soft touch rib' pyjamas were of terrible quality. I washed all PJs before wearing. The navy PJs shed so much lint that I had handfuls of the stuff in the lint catcher not to mention that navy lint went all over everything else in the wash. A week later I am still picking bits off the floor.
'Customer Service' refused a return as they had been washed and told me that I should 'use a lint brush'. Thanks for that. The fabric was clearly either faulty or of such low quality that it shouldn't be used in manufacturing. On her third email Customer Service even got my name wrong.
I regret that I will never purchase any Papinelle items ever again. The quality can no longer be trusted.
Great sleepwear
I am highly satisfied with the comfortable sleepwear I purchased from Papinelle. The fabric is incredibly soft and allows for breathability, while the fit is perfect. I must also commend their exceptional customer service, particularly Katherine.
