Item advertised as 90 Christmas tree stickers. Package contained only 32 tree stickers and 58 VERY TINY snowflake stickers. About 1/4". Plus my order of several items came shipped in two mailings.
Will never again place an online order with Paper Source
A week and a half ago we ordered 50 small items for client gifts, which the system let us do. We also paid for expedited shipping, anticipating delivery no later than 11 days after placing the order. At no point was it indicated that these items would be shipping (in ones, twos, and threes) from different stores across the cournty on different days. To compound matters, while we provided the individual's name and the company name to which the items were to be delivered (the complete address, with company name, is on the order confirmation) none of the shippers included it on the shipping labels. This wasn't an issue with packages sent by USPS, but every single package sent by UPS is being returned to the shipper as being undeliverable.
We reached out to Paper Source's customer service twice by email shortly after the order was placed with a couple of routine questions, which were answered quite promptly. Once we learned that 30 of the 50 items were being returned to the shippers by UPS we reached out again. We've sent three emails, none of which have been answered. We called the customer service number which was a waste of time as the individual was not able to provide any assistance or information whatsoever.
Our only recourse now is to wait for the items to eventually make their way to us and then return them for refunds. In the meantime, we have to purchase more items (NOT from Paper Source) to be able to present to the clients on time.
MAJOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE
Placed an order and received confirmation. A short time later my order was canceled because verification failed. I tried again and had the same thing happen. I reached out to customer service but they said I had to call; there was a wait and I don’t have time for that so I’ve decided to shop elsewhere. I am watching my credit card to make sure there is no associated fraud. Site doesn’t seem bogus necessarily, but there’s something not right and there is a significant lack of service.
1) I ordered and paid for 20 cards but received 19. 2) They added a border I requested but it covered writing on the edges - didn't they notice? They could have shrunk the content to fit within the border, or at least have contacted me before printing.
Purchased a box of Christmas cards yesterday just before 9:00 in the morning. Lightning fast delivery. They arrived in mail today. Cards are made of quality paper. Printing is crisp and clean. Very pleased. I did notice my card was charged by Barnes & Noble. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from again.
They committed false advertisement. There was a sale that said buy one get one free and they would not give me that they said that it was no longer going on but that is still false advertisement that is a legal crime.
Literally the worst Christmas card experience of all time. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! The envelopes were an entirely different color on the computer than they came in person and the printing was poor quality. But the worst part was the customer service tried to tell me, after I showed them how different the print was from the mockup, that I "didn't have to choose that" when they had recommended both the font and the color on the template. Contrast was so low on both they were unreadable.
Ordered 2 calendars and 6 boxes of letterpress Christmas cards online. When shipment arrived, I received 6 Valentines “Sucker For You” gift bags instead of the cards. I contacted them via email right away and the only thing they offered was to resend the cards arriving Dec 19, which is just too late for me. I wrote back to just cancel and refund. I hope they reply.
This company is a scam. My order never came and they will not refund my order that was over $150. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Costumer service is a joke!!
This company went bust in 2021 and if my experience is anything to go by it will go bust again, and deserve to. Ordered a bunch of stuff online, and was told it had all shipped, then 2 days later was told that one item was out of stock (how does that even work - if it had shipped, it MUST have been in stock, and if it wasnt in stock it CANT have shipped). Then I received part of my order, which was fine, but the bulk of it never turned up - and the Fedex link that I was sent by Paper Source indicated that it had not been received by them (the usual situation - shipping label produced but nothing actually received by Fedex). Now i am fighting for a full refund for the items not received, which is being resisted despite the company acknowledging that they have no shipping evidence that the order actually went out (and it certainly hasnt been received by me). This is crooked and I advise you to use this company for online purchases at your peril.
I purchased $127 worth of items at the Grand Central location in NYC and returned all two days later. At the time of purchase the sales clerk confirmed all returns are totally refundable accompanied by original receipt, (Naturally unopened). The back of the receipt also indicates this policy. Refundable meaning you will be credited back in the original form of payment. In my case I used my debit card to purchase. Upon the day of the return, the clerk continued to say, I don't have enough cash to give you so I have to issue a gift card and said it was all she could do. Well this is a big scam. Beware of returns to this store if the purchase is large. Rude sales clerks - This return transaction took over 45 minutes. The receipt clearly indicates legally you will get cash back if you pay with debit card.
So why don't they honor their word. It is illegal what they did. I am writing this review to let Paper Source management know this is not acceptable and to alert other consumers to be cautious when purchasing. Next time just head over to the 99Cents store, CVS or Walgreens or even RITE AID which is in Grand Central location.... for cards, stationary and gift wrapping. There are many other places for less
As a PR & marketing company I deal with a LOT of printing companies. This is the first time I have used Paper Source. The 1 star is for the printed material it was a good standard. The lack of the other 4 stars is due to the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. My emails were not responded to and if one was (I sent several) its was never followed up. It is a do or die company - by that I mean you had better get your artwork 100% perfect as it could never be a fault of theirs....I spent an hour talking to them from the UK a call that cost me over £100 to be told I was in the wrong and the most they could do was possible pay half the delivery cost...I will never use their services again due to the customer services.
My package took two weeks to arrive. Half of the products I ordered were missing. I cannot reach Paper Source customer service on by phone. I've tried twice and was on hold with phone customer service for 5 minutes and then the phone line went dead. I tried twice, same experience both times. Seems this company ships slowly, makes shipping mistakes, isn't there for customer support and I have to say, the prices were sky-high. I own a small e-commerce business. We wouldn't stay in business long this kind of inconsideration for the customer. Won't be purchasing from Paper Source again.
I do enjoy buying cute stuff because I love making scrapbook. And Paper Source don't disappoint me because they have lots of what I need. I keep on coming back here and I also recommend it to my colleagues.
Beware!!! Do not use them for your save the date or wedding invitations. Here was my experience based on trying to order 30 save the date invites for my wedding:
-I had to keep following up regarding status. I received excuses.
-The local store told me to contact customer service. Isn't this a service they need to provide if they realize they are not delivering?
-COVID hit, and they confirmed they would send everything to me. They sent it to the store and told me it was my issue to solve. This took multiple emails to customer service to resolve.
-The proofs came back twice with errors. They made the same ones more than once.
-I reached out to customer service at the end of this process multiple times and no one got back to me.
-I constantly received excuses and it felt like it was my problem to deal with. Where is the ease and customer service in that?
-I was told for my trouble I would received a custom mail stamp with our return address. Do you think I ever received that?
-It took almost 2 months from the order I placed prior to COVID to arrive.
-No apologies from Corporate.
-My local contact initially tried to assist but after having g to follow-up with her on status, I felt very much on my own. For me to have to keep asking for status updates, for telling me I need to contact headquarters because she is getting nowhere and for the stream of excuses, it was and remains to be unprofessional.
Best place to get some small stationary treats and cool little things!
