Michael led a 1 hour online workshop for my office and I have no regrets about booking him!
We were all very impressed with the workshop, and in particular with Michael's presenting abilities. He was engaging, enthusiastic, and professional throughout - it is clear he wants to share his love of origami with others.
The session ran well with about 30 employees, and we had partners and children who followed along too.
The technical set up he employs makes it very easy to follow what he's doing. We decided not to have any kits sent to us and indeed plain A4 paper is good enough for origami.
Strongly recommend if anyone wants to organise a virtual work social - doing something practical eliminates any "zoom fatigue", you can get children involved, and most importantly it's lots of fun!

This is hands-down the best virtual offering on the market- Michael's superb content, paired with a lovely presenting style and simple but effective visual mixing leads to a lovely, chilled, naturally engaging workshop.

I have booked this workshop 15 or 20 times, sometimes with (but mostly without) kits. The kits are gorgeous, but absolutely not needed to fully participate in the workshop. Michael always makes sure that the session is inclusive to all, and you can take part regardless of what kind of paper you have; printer paper, notebook paper, magazine tear-outs or anything your team have to hand will do the trick.

My materiels did not arrive in time for me to participate. It was told that it would be recorded for whenever we get our packet, but it doesn't seem like a group activity if I'm doing it alone watching a recording. Might as well find some Youtube videos.

We booked the Origami Workshop to do an online event in our company. It was fantastic and Michael was a great teacher and gave us a lot of models to choose from! We are all ver proud of our origami art and totally recommend it!

Papershake Origami recently ran a fantastic virtual Origami workshop at our organisation. Michael did a great job of conveying his enthusiasm for the craft and explained how Origami related to our theme in focus - mindfulness. Everyone that attended the workshop thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was fun to follow the Origami Workshop. Easy and fast solutions. If not, Michael had an eye on all the audience. :-)

Today, I had a workshop with Michael as a part of our learning festival at work. It was so much fun, I had amazing, relaxing time and within one hour I got 6 amazing master pieces :) All very well explained so I could keep up with no pressure. Warm, easy to follow entry into the world of origami!

Loved this class. Michael was warm and funny. Pacing was fine, and the steps were easy to follow. I've been able to repeat the items we made in class on my own now after the class. Overall, it was great and left me wanting to try more.
