Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Paid for next day delivery and placed order before cutoff time.
Goods not dispatched on time of sent in the upgraded delivery service which I paid for.
Company refuses to accept responsibility and have been sending me rude emails.
Tried to speak to them on the phone but they put the phone down when I explained the problem.
I’m still without my goods or money.
Avoid this company.
They have the worst customer service ever.

For transparency, this situation relates to a single order placed by a customer who orders from us regularly every 8 weeks or so, typically using our standard delivery service. On this occasion they selected next‑day delivery, which we dispatched on time via Royal Mail using a tracked service.

We regret that this order has resulted in such a negative review, but it’s important to provide context for future customers.

This order has already been fully refunded and the goods supplied. Unfortunately, during the process our sales team received multiple abusive phone calls from the reviewer, which led to calls being terminated.

A threatening voicemail was also left by a gentleman, in which he stated he would post reviews on every platform he could. The same order has since been the subject of duplicate reviews left under different names across platforms.

We were subsequently harassed by repeated phone calls and emails in which our staff were called liars.

As a result, the customer’s account was closed to protect our team.

We always aim to resolve issues fairly and professionally, and while we regret that this situation escalated, the matter is now concluded with both a full refund and the paper delivered.

Avoid this company! Emailed telling me “no one cares about your paper” when couldn’t fulfil next day delivery

2ND EDIT: to clarify this is not regarding a delayed parcel as company has stated. Is this was a courier delay i wouldn’t have left a review. Also, the review is now about the exceptionally disgusting way in which I’ve been treated. To lie in a response and say they haven't sent the copy and paste emails I’ve mentioned. AVOID THKS COMPANY!
IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG THE COMPANY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY.

The company have sent it on the wrong postage and have not actually handed it over to the Royal Mail. It has been 3 days and the tracking states “Royal Mail awaiting parcel from sender”
For the company to try to mislead customers by saying this review is wrong and they have sent proof is crazy. The proof they sent was proof they had bought postage but the parcel was NOT in transit. Furthermore the company have continued to send me harassing abusive emails. I am completely in shock any professional could act this way. I have asked them multiple times not to contact me and refusing a refund. And to mention I order regularly.. firstly it shows when something does go wrong you will have zero help and receive abuse. Also shows they have no problem being rude to regular customers.

It is now day 3 and my next day delivery is still showing as Royal Mail awaiting parcel from sender.

To clarify, I did order on a next day service on Monday. The order was not sent on a next day it was sent on a Royal Mail tracked 24 as the company states. It’s crazy to me they see this and still can’t accept the mistake. Tracked 24 which Royal Mail estimates can take between 1-3 days and although often arrives next day is not a next day service. So the company have sent on the wrong service to which they advertise. Which I would have accepted as a mistake however the tirade of emails received has been shocking!
It is now Tuesday evening and the Royal mail tacking still states awaiting from sender.
The whole issue was over an incorrect /delayed postage which could have been easily resolved. Instead I’ve had multiple abrasive emails with personal attacks accusing me of being abusive when the only abuse is coming from them. which is just wild to me from a professional company.

I’ve never had such a crazy interaction with a company, I’m genuinely speechless.

EDIT: since leaving my below review a few hours ago the company have emailed me.

First email “You having fun trying to tarnish by business”

My response: Not at all, I just left an honest review of my poor experience.

Which I gave you ample opportunity to rectify.

Your service is the only thing tarnishing your business.

My order is still not with the Royal Mail.

Their reply: Order stock earlier then you won’t have these problem with your business.

My reply: Perhaps don’t offer next day delivery if it is not something you can fulfil.

It’s quite shocking how you speak to your customers.

Their reply: Urs your fault. You’re running a business we don’t run out of stock. Thanks don’t message back. You need to grow up

To which I did not reply but continued to receive 5 separate emails. Accusing me of having my boyfriend call this morning? It was my boss calling regarding the order and they hung up the phone on him.

Telling a customer to grow up and order sooner if you want it on time is absurd.

Such unprofessional communication and quick shocking from what claims to be a professional company. I would 1000% avoid this company.

Original review: As with many other reviews I have had a horrible experience with this company.

Ordered before the deadline for next day delivery.
They have sent my delivery on the incorrect service, and it has yet to be dispatched to the Royal Mail. Are adamant even though Royal Mail are still awaiting parcel that it may still be delivered today.

Sent me proof of delivery which was simply a screenshot proving they had bought postage (the wrong postage) all of this I could accept as a mistake and move on however the shocking customer service received since has resulted in me writing this review. How companies deal with their mistakes speaks volumes and this company are refusing to acknowledge they have messed up and completely blaming Royal Mail. Refusing to issue a refund until I receive the goods and return them. And refusing to refund fully and deducting 7.99 postage.

Expressed my disappointment in the service and was told to not order again as I am calling them liars (even though they sent proof they had made a mistake) So not only poor customer service but completely rude to customers. Avoid this company!

We provided the customer with both the tracking reference and a screenshot of the booking confirmation to demonstrate that the parcel left our premises as scheduled. At this time of year, with Christmas only five weeks away, Royal Mail is experiencing very high parcel volumes. This can result in backlogs where items are not scanned immediately, which makes it appear as though they have not been dispatched when in fact they have. In this case, the parcel is due to arrive tomorrow.

This situation involved numerous emails and repeated calls to our sales line rather than our customer service team. While we always aim to assist wherever a customer contacts us, our sales line is not designed for handling delivery queries, which may have contributed to the strained communication. We remained focused on providing evidence of dispatch and supporting the customer, and we want to reassure future readers that this activity all relates to one order, not multiple separate incidents.

We also feel it is important to clarify that two reviews were left under different Google accounts, both relating to this same order. While we welcome genuine feedback, we believe transparency matters, and future readers should be aware that these reviews are not separate experiences but one situation repeated across platforms.

Due to the volume and tone of communication, which included repeated calls and emails that we considered abusive, we have taken the step of closing this customer’s account. We do not take such decisions lightly, but we must ensure our team can work in a respectful environment while continuing to serve our wider customer base.

We acknowledge that the tone of communication was challenging at times, and we regret if any of our responses came across as unprofessional.

Our intention is always to resolve issues quickly and respectfully. We understand how disappointing it is when a next‑day delivery does not arrive as expected, and we will continue to work with our courier partners to minimise these rare seasonal delays.

Royal Mail

To be honest this rating is not for Papercutz personally as quality of product is excellent and I have no faults with anything I order. My rating would have been 5 stars but for the decision to change the delivery option to Royal Mail. Next day delivery £7.99? and 8 times out of 10 it's not delivered next day. I hope going forward this is something you might reconsider.

I have to say that this is not just any card supply company but they are THE card supply company. After not so good experiences using other companies to supply my business with materials, I came across Papercutz and I wish I had found them sooner.
